2017 REFLECTION TASK :

for this task we’re going to do some reflecting on the past year, and set our goals for the new one !

for those of you who signed up for secret santa and have been given a name, you are going to find gifts for the person whose name you’ve received. gifts are supposed to be personalized and something that you think the person will really like. this means, if you don’t know the person, you might need to do some research. look through their blogs and other social media, talk to their friends or significant others, talk to them or whatever else you need to do to get an idea of the kinds of things they’re into. 

once you’ve found the gifts you’re going to give to your person, you will post pictures of the gifts on your sideblog, creating an aesthetic board or just posting a single picture. 

you must send a link to the post to the person the gifts are for, sometime between december 21st and 24th. all links must be sent by the 11:59pm on the 24th. please tag all task posts on your sideblog with “l.task!” if you’ve signed up for this task and do not complete the task, you will be given an activity warning. this task is mandatory for everyone who signed up.

part a : post your outfit for the ball on your sideblog ( this can either be a picture of you in your outfit for the ball, an aesthetic board made of the pieces of your outfit, or whatever other way you can show off your outfit )

part b : write 5+ headcanons about your night at the ball. ( headcanons should each be at least 3 sentences long )

HALLOWEEN BALL COSTUME CONTEST :

on october 31st ( the earlier in the day, the better ) post a picture of you in your halloween costume on the dash using the tag “luminary costume contest!” ( so we know it’s a contest entry ) this is different from the costumes you wore to the festival during the themed days and posted on your sideblogs. this is the costume you wore on halloween, to the ball. a vote will take place to award the best costume !

this task is optional but recommended.

HALLOWEEN HAUNTER TASK :

part a ( for musicians ) : post the setlist that you played during your set at the festival on your sideblog ( make sure to mention if you had any guests acompany you during your set, the pr reps pay extra attention to collabs like this ) 

part a ( for anyone doing a q & a panel ) : answer this series of questions on your sideblog ( you can do this in any format but keep in mind these questions are meant to be asked by fans attending the panel ) 

part b ( for everyone ) : post your costume for any or all of the festival costume themes on your sideblog ( day 1: disney theme, day 2: movie character theme, day 3: zombie theme ) 

part c ( for everyone ) : write 6+ headcanons about your time at the festival and the halloween party. headcanons should include things like what you dressed up as on each day, how your jobs during the festival went, whose sets you watched during the festival, and just overall what you did and how you were feeling during the festival. headcanons should be 3+ sentences each. 

this task is optional but recommended. if you do parts a + c, it will count as one of your updates for the month of november. ( you’ll probably have to wait until after the festival to write headcanons about what happened, so it won’t be posted until november. )

all tasks should be posted on sideblogs and tagged “l.task!” this task has no due date but should be done as soon after the festival ends as possible.
