I am so sad to see PD close, and I am sorry for my absence. I really enjoyed my time here with you all, and if any of you have indie blogs, please don't hesitate to let me know!
Yeulâs expression changed, though just slightly. Her eyes narrowed. You really had to be looking for it to see the subtle change. Was she making a joke? What right did she not have to believe her? Yeul knew very well that time travel was possible, so she figured this girl was from a different time, which is why she didnât know where she was from. But to downright laugh at her? She had some nerve.Â
âI told you where I was really from. Gran Pulse.â Though something caught her attention. Gran Pulse hasnât existed for more than five centuries. How was that possible when she and Noel were the last two people alive? No one should have gone an made another civilization.Â
âTell me, how are you living? Back in my world, there were only two people left alive in the whole world. How could another civilization come about? Assuming you and I are from the same world.â Yeul didnât think of the possibility that there was another world with Gran Pulse.Â
When Lumina scoffed at the notion of behaving, that is when Yeul most certainly knew something was off about her. She knew that this girl was not going to just sit around in Moogletown.Â
She was trouble.Â
And that is when it hit her. Yeul figured out that feeling that she sensed around the pinkette. âYou feel as if your surrounded in chaos.â Yeul spoke in a low, almost clairvoyant type voice.Â
Lumina saw a subtle change in the girl's expression. Had she struck a nerve? This conversation was becoming more and more interesting by the second. "Well then, that is quite interesting."
"Only two, huh? Luxerion is filled with people, though they don't age. New people are not born, and people can not die of natural causes." As the words left Lumina's mouth, she though about how peculiar it sounded. Without letting Yeul get a word in, she began to explain.
"When Cocoon fell, a new Cocoon rose. As the new Cocoon sat perched in the sky, something strange happened. The gate separating Valhalla and the mortal realm fell, and chaos flowed freely. Over time, the merged world started to decay, creating the world of Nova Chrysalia. Time no longer flows in Nova Chrysalia thanks to the effects of the merged realms."Â
Lumina assumed the girl was not lying, she not not seem to be the type, but something still seemed off. How did she not know about the fall of Etro's Gate? What did she mean there were only two people left? "I've heard that this all came about after the death of some seeress. You wouldn't know anything about that, would you?"
"Oooh, you can sense it too?" she mused. "Then tell me, do you work for Bhunivelze like the other one does?" Not many could sense the chaos that always seemed to surround the pink haired girl. Only on other had been able to see it, and she certainly was from Luxerion.
Just who was this girl exactly?
Itâd been ages since Queen last set foot in Moogletown. Between exams and missions, she barely had time to spend around the Peristylium, so travelling here was out of the question. It was nice to be back, though the town seemed to have changed. A part of her wondered if she maybe just forgot how it looked- no, her memory was something she prided herself in. Lost in her thoughts about the town and itâs layout, she strode along the road, not particularly paying attention to her environment, until suddenly she bumped into someone.
âAh- My apologies,â she began, steadying herself and dusting off her skirt. She blinked at the pink-haired stranger before her and cleared her throat. âAre you alright?â
Lumina had been enjoying her time in Moogletown as of late. New faces continued to show up, making things more and more interesting. The nearly empty town was now bustling with activity, offering new opportunities for entertainment.Â
Lumina decided to take a walk through town today. Most days she spent her time playing tricks on the residents, but that was getting dull. As she walked the streets of Moogletown, she stopped in front of a clothing store. As she browsed the wares sitting in the shop's window, she heard footsteps. Quickly turning to see who it was, she collided with the person.
"Ouch!" she yelped, stumbling backwards. Shaking her head, she looked up, sapphire eyes meeting amethyst. "What was that for," she whined, staring at the black haired girl. She hesitated a bit before responding. "I'm alright," she stated simply, eyeing the woman in front of her.
"I haven't seen you here before."
âJeez lady, I was just messinâ with ya!â
âChaos? Pawns? What are you talkinâ âbout? But Moogletown, eh? Thatâs a strange name for a town, if you ask me.â
"Oh really? You ought to be careful, then. I am a much better player than you are, that I can guarantee!"
"You, of course. All of the residents here! Though, I have to agree. The name is pretty weird. Perhaps you're not like the other pawns here."
A Curious Encounter [Lumina & Noel]
Noel had seen some strange things on his travels, and even back home. But this â this was different. There was something off about this, though he couldnât quite put his finger on what it was.
There was a new girl hanging around town who looked a lot like Serah, and yet didnât seem anything like his friend. The hunter had heard of twins before, but the pink-haired girl didnât have any sisters aside from Lightning. Not that he knew of, anyway. She surely wouldâve told him if she had any more siblings. Right? It didnât really seem like something worth hiding, in his opinion.Â
Determined to find out what was going on and who this woman was, Noel approached her. Though, the closer he got, the more he got the feeling there was something familiar about this person. Heâd felt the same thing back in Valhalla, but she hadnât been there. The brunette didnât recall seeing her; not that that really said anything.
âHey,â he said, stopping right in front of her. âWho are you?â Crossing his arms in front of his chest, Noel looked down at the pink-haired woman who resembled Serah a little too much to his liking. Yeah, there definitely was something off about this girl. âAnd where are you from?â
Lumina had begun to build up quite the reputation for herself among the residents of Moogletown. She spent much of her time toying with her new pawns, and that had begun to make them worry. No one knew what the young woman had planned, or what she would do next. She was unpredictable; a chaotic addition to the peaceful town.Â
She knew her actions would eventually garner attention, not that she minded. Everything was like a game to her, and they more interested the players, the more fun the game was. She was never quite worried about who she would attract, either. The powers of chaos sided with her, and she could easily defend herself in a pinch.
Looking up, Lumina noticed a brunet approaching her, a determined look on his face. She'd seen that look before, and it meant that this would not be a dull interaction. As he asked his questions Lumina rolled her eyes. "What is with the people in this town! Always demanding a lady's name before offering your own." Shaking her head, she giggled. "My name is Lumina. I'm from the grand city of Luxerion." As she looked the young man over, she noticed a certain familiarity about him.
"And what about you?"
Lightning looked up, and stared into the face of the young woman who somewhat resembled Serah in appearance. She knew her name:Â Lumina. The devilish spirit whoâd been making her mission harder with her tricks; sometimes she helped out as well, and the ex-soldier still wasnât sure if she was an ally or a foe.Â
âYou,â Lightning said, her hand resting on the hilt of her blade. She needed to stay on guard, in case the other would try anything funny.Â
"Oh, come on Lightning! I thought we were friends." Lumina paced around the taller woman, smiling her devilish smile. Moogletown was filled with strange faces belonging to even stranger people. No one seemed to know anything about Luxerion, or that the world was rapidly reaching its end.
"Quite the strange town, don't you think? I wonder how we got here. Speaking of! Shouldn't you be 'saving' Luxerion?" As she completed her circle, she stopped in front of the woman and smiled. Though she was in a new place, she couldn't resist toying with Lightning, no matter the consequence.
âI ainât talkinâ about the scenery, love. Though, I donât think itâs that bad around here. Whatâs this place called, anyway?â
"You should really keep your eyes to yourself if you know what's good for you. - 'Not that bad?' There's no chaos! Though I suppose there are plenty of pawns to play with. I've been told it's called Moogletown."
âIf you say so, little lady. Canât really complain about the view, though.â
"You better be talking about the scenery, blondie. Though even that isn't very impressive."
âDamnâ This sure ainât lookinâ like home.â
"I'll say. There's so many weird people here."Â
Luminaâs outfit, Lightning Returns.
Yeul raised an eyebrow. Interesting? Her name was anything but interesting. If anything, Lumina was an interesting name, as Yeul had never heard of it before. Yeul eyed the pinkette and watched her movements. She seemed to be hiding what she was truly feelings, much like Yeul herself was doing.Â
When she spoke of this place that she was from, she knew she had never heard of it before. Despite not having any of her powers, she still kept her memories of the timelines from before and other Yeuls. She would know if a place called Luxerion existed in her world. Lumina spoke of her town with some sort of sinister mocking, Yeul noticed. Maybe she didnât like it very much?
âI am from the city of Paddra on Gran Pulse.â Yeul said simply. She figured that Lumina didnât know much of it, considering it seemed like they were from too different places. Her green eyes flicked up to Lumina before scanning the area around her.Â
She felt some form of chaos surrounding the girl.Â
Yeul was never one to speak too much, especially when it came to saying things that werenât necessary to say. Maybe it was her clairvoyant nature tugging at her that convinced her that what she was about to say was some form of pre-cognition.Â
âPlease do not cause any trouble in Moogletown. It is a very peaceful town.â
Lumina's eyes narrowed at the young woman's words. "Gran Pulse, you say?" a devilish grin forming on her face. "Gran Pulse hasn't existed in over five centuries!" Lumina chuckled at the thought. "Thanks for the laugh, though. Where are you really from?"
Lumina was certain she'd have seen the girl around one of Nova Chrysalia's cities, and a few people, such as the Patron, did in fact remember the fate of Cocoon and Gran Pulse. Could this girl really be from Gran Pulse, though? It was very unlikely, unless there was more to this Moogletown than Lumina thought.
Come to think of it, the residents of Moogletown all looked quite strange. They wore clothing quite foreign to the girl's home, and even more peculiar, the land was lush and green, with no sign of Valhalla's chaos corrupting it. Is there no corruption here? Just where the heck is this place!
"Trouble?" Lumina scoffed at the girl's harsh words. "I'm only interested in a bit of fun." Truth be told, Lumina was only interested in her own entertainment, but she refused to let this opportunity escape her. This was far too interesting a situation to pass up.
"I guess I can behave," she shrugged. For now. It would be only a matter of time before the young woman's devilish ways returned.

She had yet to explore the entirety of Moogletown. The city was loud and colourful, and always managed to bring a smile on her lips despite the overall confusion Serah felt these days. Even though she was back from the dead - literally - she felt as though she had no purpose. She could not see any reason why she was back, aside from exploring the town. It made her feel uneasy. She was used to battling behemoths and other vile creatures alongside of Noel. Moogletown was too calm.Â
Her eyes scanned the various shops, until her eyes fell upon herself, some twenty feet away from her. What? Her breath caught in her throat, and her eyebrows shot upwards. What the hell was happening? She looked down at her hands and pinched herself, as if to make sure that she wasnât dreaming. Who was that?Â
With a flick of her hand, she could make a small cloud appear out of thin air. She seemed to be enjoying herself way too much. Panic flooded through Serahâs body as she watched the other woman laugh. She made her way towards her anyways.Â
âWho are you?â her voice trembled with a mix of anger and fear.Â
"Well that's rude." Lumina turned towards the angry voice, staring back into familiar blue hues. "Whoa!" she exclaimed, her eyes growing wide. "It's like staring into a mirror. Well, except you're old," she teased, stifling a giggle. Though the woman in front of her was taller, and her face more structured, they shared the same pink hair and sapphire blue eyes.Â
Lumina kept up her cheery facade, though she was extremely interested in this doppelganger. How was it possible that this woman and her shared a similar appearance? Eyeing the girl, she noticed some differences. No, not a mirror but.. Lumina couldn't put her finger on it. The girl felt familiar, and it certainly couldn't be a coincidence that they shared many features.
"You know," Lumina began, a small cloud of chaos emanating from her body, "It's quite rude to demand someone's name without first introducing yourself." Her voice still sickeningly sweet, she now donned a devilish grin. This should be fun.
Standing up from the bench, she circled the woman, keeping her eyes set on her face. The woman looked quite panicked, angry even. She was quite easy to read, much different than the last resident she had met.
Stopping directly in front of the woman, Lumina sighed, extending a glove-less hand, "The name is Lumina," she smirked. "And you are..?"

Lumina hadn't been in Moogletown very long, but already she was feeling quite bored. While the townspeople were generally entertaining to play with, they weren't nearly as fun as one of Bhunivelze's lackeys. She missed toying with Lightning back in Luxerion, always leaving her curious as to whether or not Lumina would aid her or lead her into an elaborate trap. She enjoyed keeping her pawns on their toes.
Lumina sat on a bench, legs crossed, watching as the residents walked by. With the wave of her gloved hand she had managed to summon a small chaos cloud, frightening someone enough that they nearly tripped over their feet as the fled. Giggling to herself, she continued tormenting the innocent townspeople as she saw fit, hoping someone interesting would finally make their way towards her.Â
Yeul quietly shook her head at the question. No. They hadnât met before. Yeul was sure of that once she heard the girl talk. Her demeanor is completely different than the person she resembles. The girl began pacing, keeping her eyes trained on Yeul. It unnerved her a bit, as she looked like a predators stalking her prey. She didnât know of this Luxerion, so she couldnât agree or disagree.Â
Yeul took the pinketteâs hand gently. âNice to meet you, Lumina. I am Yeul.â She told her, returning her hand to her side. Lumina was only slightly taller than Yeul, which made her feel a bit better. Most were taller than her.Â
âNo one knows how they got here. We just are.â Yeul said simply to the girl. She kept her emotionless face as she scanned Lumina for answers. Oh, how she was dying for her powers right now. She would have had a vision of this girl, surely.Â
Yeul noticed Luminaâs clothes. They were different than what she was used to seeing. But then again, she hadnât met many people. Other Yeulâs might have known where that clothing was from, but she did not.
âWhere are you originally from, may I ask?âÂ
"Huh," Lumina said is response, cocking her head at the girl. I could have sworn... It wasn't often that Lumina was wrong, and for some reason she refused to accept the fact that she had never met the silver-haired girl that stood in front of her. Something about her seemed too familiar, and she wasn't sure whether or not she liked that.
"Yeul, eh?" she stated, repeating the girl's name. It sounded familiar, but Lumina could not place where, or even if, she had heard it before. Placing her hand on her hip, she nodded in response to the girl's statement. "I see... Interesting." Great, she thought, am I stuck here? And just when I thought things were going to get good!
Lumina raised an eyebrow as she noticed the young woman eyeing her. Though Yeul's face remained emotionless, she could tell something about her interested the young woman, much in the same way she interested Lumina.Â
"Luxerion," Lumina said after a moment. " 'The divine city light'," her voice now displaying a mocking tone. The name was a bit ridiculous, but oh how she loved spreading chaos throughout the grand city. Playing with the residents was quite the entertaining game for her.
"What about you," she asked, leaning forward, "where are you from?"
