Lumina saw a subtle change in the girl’s expression. Had she struck a nerve? This conversation was becoming more and more interesting by the second. “Well then, that is quite interesting."

"Only two, huh? Luxerion is filled with people, though they don’t age. New people are not born, and people can not die of natural causes." As the words left Lumina’s mouth, she though about how peculiar it sounded. Without letting Yeul get a word in, she began to explain.

"When Cocoon fell, a new Cocoon rose. As the new Cocoon sat perched in the sky, something strange happened. The gate separating Valhalla and the mortal realm fell, and chaos flowed freely. Over time, the merged world started to decay, creating the world of Nova Chrysalia. Time no longer flows in Nova Chrysalia thanks to the effects of the merged realms." 

Lumina assumed the girl was not lying, she not not seem to be the type, but something still seemed off. How did she not know about the fall of Etro’s Gate? What did she mean there were only two people left? “I’ve heard that this all came about after the death of some seeress. You wouldn’t know anything about that, would you?"

"Oooh, you can sense it too?" she mused. “Then tell me, do you work for Bhunivelze like the other one does?" Not many could sense the chaos that always seemed to surround the pink haired girl. Only on other had been able to see it, and she certainly was from Luxerion.

People didn't age? That was something new to Yeul. She had never heard of such a thing. New people were not born? What kind of world was this? Though what startled Yeul the most was that the gate separating the realms had fallen. Time did not flow anymore.

Was this the reason Yeul did not see her visions anymore? Was there not any future to see because time did not flow? All of Noel and Serah's traveling must have changed the future. The future she was from did not exist anymore. 

"A seeress..." Yeul muttered. She must have been talking about Serah. She figured it must have been Serah. Yeul herself was always destined to die. She was the original Seeress. Her death would not have caused such a change. Serah's on the other hand...

"I do not work for anyone besides the godess." Yeul said simply. Lumina made it quite obvious that she was aware of herself being surrounded in chaos. Did that mean that she was here to cause trouble, like Yeul suspected? 

And then it hit her. Like a thousand bricks. She didn't understand why she didn't remember the name sooner. Maybe it has been so long since she had her seeress powers, but she knew she remembered this name. Bhunivelze. He was the god that created Etro, the godess that gave her her gift. He was awakened? Last Yeul understood, he was asleep in crystal. Just what in the world happened after her death? Had things gotten that out of control? Had the future changed that much?

"Bhunivelze..." Yeul muttered. Yeul didn't know who this 'other one' was, but Lumina said it with such distaste that Yeul figured that Lumina was working against Bhunivelze. "Why...Why is he awake?" Yeul said suddenly, revealing to Lumina that she knew more than the average person.

Noel&Yeul: Reunion

The hunter was pleased when he found out their second underwater adventure didn’t take as long as their first. He quickly pushed himself out of the pool, feeling a lot colder now he was no longer surrounded by the warm water. Perhaps it wasn’t so bad in there after all. However, he didn’t have any plans to go back in; not today, anyway. He’d gone swimming enough for the day already. After gathering all his belongings he’d left behind, which were in fact only his shoes, he walked over to his friend, ready to go. 

“It was fun,” Noel agreed, nodding his head, and he genuinely meant what he told her. A part of him even felt proud that Yeul had taken him to the cave to show him the room with the crystals. It was nice knowing she wanted to share such things with him. “Thank you for showing this to me.”

Outside it was even colder, Noel noticed, and he took a quick glance at Yeul, wondering if she was cold, too. He frowned slightly at that thought. They were both wet, but he was more worried about her than about himself. He’d always placed others before himself, but she was more special than anyone else. The brunette couldn’t really explain what he was feeling. It was strange, not like anything he’d ever experienced before. He wished he could ask someone about it, but, for some reason, it seemed inappropriate to ask Yeul.

“This one’s on me, all right?” He looked at Yeul, and smiled. “Dinner, I mean.” Though he liked being left alone sometimes, he liked being in company much better. He spent enough time on his own already. Even here, in Moogletown — who could he have turned to, when he didn’t really know anyone here? At least now he knew there were familiar faces around, and that was a comforting thought.

Grabbing Yeul by the shoulder, he stopped dead in his tracks. “You know, it might be better if you put on some other clothes first. I don’t want you to get a cold.” Noel knew he didn’t have to worry so much about her, but he just couldn’t help himself. What if she would get sick? He didn’t want that to happen.

Yeul looked up at him, confused. "You don't really have to pay all of it..." She said quietly, but she knew when Noel made a decision, he was going to go with it. If he really wanted to pay, then it was sweet of him. She didn't have too much money to spend anyway. The two of them walking a little farther before Noel stopped her, his hand on her shoulder. She didn't know if it was because she was wet and cold or what, but she felt her stomach flutter. 

When he told her that she should put on some other clothes, she looked down curiously. That made sense. Her clothes were barely there in the first place, and now that they were sticking to her, they were just making the cold air worse. 

"You're right." She said as she led him in the direction of her small home. They could grab dinner after she changed. She had bought some clothes that were from Moogletown when she first arrived here. The clothes were odd to her at first, as she was only used to Gran Pulse fashion. She soon got used to the strange clothing and found it more warm and comfortable. As they entered her house, she remembered that Noel was also dripping wet. 

"What about you? Won't you get cold?" The green eyed girl asked quietly as she pressed the button on her headpiece that let her hair down. She grabbed a towel for herself and for Noel, handing it out gently to him. It was the least  she could do, she didn't have any male clothes for him to wear. Grabbing some shorts and a large T-shirt, she quickly ran into the bathroom to dry off and put on the clothes. They weren't her usual wear, but they were comfortable after being in tight, wet clothes. 

As she dried her hair, she thought about Noel. What was he to her? How did she feel toward him. She knew she cared a lot about Noel, as she wished she could protect him. But she had nothing to relate her feelings to to understand them. She didn't know her own parents and there weren't many people around back in her world for her to know what relationships were like. Did she feel the same way about Noel that Serah felt towards Snow? Or was it different? And how did Noel feel about her? Thinking these questions got her all flustered up, her cheeks burning red. Trying to shake the blush away and failing, she ignored it, walking out of the bathroom, drying her long sliver hair with the towel. 

She met Noel back in the front room, hoping to Etro that he didn't notice her blush. Slipping in to some sandals, she looked at Noel, waiting to see if he was ready to head out to dinner.

Happy Birthday PD!

Wow. I don't even know what to say. I've been around as Yeul, and even longer as Tifa. I don't even know how long i've been here with PD, but it's been months, I tell you. I'm so glad that I have been able to make friends with all of you. I really enjoy being a part of PD and I can't wait to celebrate this time with all of you!
