Hiatus Over!

It’s been a while and I kind of uuuuh… forgot about this blog but I plan on making and releasing some new CC in the next week or so!

I have a link to a strawpoll here for which new tank top you’d like to see next! I have a few new ideas I want to try out so I’ll be working on those in the meantime and I’ll check the poll results on Sunday AEST

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to work on any CC projects because of a full family weekend and also I’ve been forgetting to take my medication so I was feeling pretty bad and un-creative. The poll has been extended to whenever, I guess?

I’m not going to put a a deadline on something that’s supposed to be a hobby, but I’m sure once I get back into the swing of things I’ll be putting out more CC semi-consistently

Amazing News!!

My new pc has been ordered and should be here in about a week! Assuming the rain from the cyclone doesn’t delay it! I’m so excited I feel like I need to jump around like a loon.

A little update under the cut in case anyone cares:

-I’ve got some build WIPs in the works, one needs the exterior redesigned and the other just needs a kitchen and landscaping, I’ll try to get them done soon but to play the sims i need to tent my laptop and point my little desk fan at the bottom to stop it from overheating while i use my tv as a screen, because of that I can only play in short periods

-I’m currently playing Mass Effect Andromeda and I’m having an amazing time (even with that game-breaking glitch I encountered). I plan on making my Ryder in the sims because I love her sarcastic little ass so much

-That kitty I was planning on adopting isn’t going to be mine, it seems that the owner changed her mind but decided to lie and make up an excuse which just hurt even more. But I’m keeping an eye on local classifieds for a floofy lil bub who I plan on naming Pixel

-There’s a Cat 4 cyclone about 6 hours north of where I am that’s due to hit land in the early hours of the morning, I’m at no risk but it’s likely the cyclone will become a Cat 5

-That latest Adventure Zone episode is fucking wild oh my god

-tbh i can’t remember much else but i’m super excited to start making cc again, i can’t wait!!

WCIF These Eyes?

I’m recreating my Tiefling Rogue in the sims since my pc died and took everything with it, but I can’t find these eyes.

The closest I’ve found is here and here but the eyes i’m looking for are coloured and matte. Any help at all would be appreciated!

Not sure but I know Valhallasim did something like like. If not, maybe check MTS (they have a great wcif place) Google images (reverse serch?) And maybe LANA finds Cc (go into eyes and go back to the front, this takes forever though) Good luck!

Sure! It probably won’t be released until I’m sure I have most of what I regularly use and it’ll be hard to remember all of them, but I’m sure I’ll find some new favourites!

I’m installing the sims on my laptop in the hopes that I can at least run it well enough to do some building because I’ve had some pretty great ideas (of course that happens when I don’t have access to the sims...) I doubt I’ll be able to play in live mode but at least I’ll have CAS and build mode if this laptop can handle it...

Good News!!

My dad’s been looking at some pc parts (because I know diddly-squat about building a pc) and hopefully I’ll have a new pc in a month or two! That can actually run the sims on not the lowest settings! And that means higher quality preview pics! I’m so excited if you couldn’t tell!!

In other news:

I’ve joined a D&D group through The Adventure Zone Appreciation Group on Facebook and it looks like we start our first session on Friday and I’m so nervous and excited all at the same time, it’ll be bby’s first D&D game ;w;

I also haven’t gotten my lil kitty yet, but I’ll be seeing the owner in person soon at a party so I’m gonna badger them about it because that cat can’t stay in that home, it’s going to get hurt

I finished Horizon Zero Dawn in about 30 hours and need to yell about that story

I’m thinking about making some Adventure Zone themed clothing recolours once I get my new pc, I don’t really care if no one wants them, I need a shirt that says “Abraca-Fuck-You”

I have some bad news...

Unfortunately my pc has just died and I don’t think there’s any way to save it and I don’t think it’d even be worth it considering it’s over 10 years old. I’ve asked my dad about getting me new pc for my 21st birthday so I can learn how to 3D model and open up commissions but I honestly don’t know if he will

So I guess I’ll be on a CC hiatus... I wish I didn’t have to but I have no other way of making CC since my laptop will overheat if I even think about opening up Photoshop

I’ll still be lurking around so I’ll see if I get any messages ❤

Okay, so oops... I haven’t done any work on new CC because I’ve had to kitten proof my house so that means:

making sure there’s not any places she can get into where I can’t reach her

putting things like cords out of the way where they can’t get chewed (which is impossible with a computer, tv, and multiple consoles in one room alone)

and trying to find a way to block off the stairs so she can’t slip between the steps and get into the garage (where she could potentially slip under the gate and get out)

I haven’t really had any time to make some more CC due to a bunch of doctor appointments and a chaotic sleep schedule but I’m hoping I’ll get some time in the next few days!
