There were heavy burdens that rested on Shoto's shoulders mainly because of the hidden issues that exist within his home. A burden that seemed impossible to escape from because of the ideals that his father had involving him. It was something that he had heard over and over again since the moment that his quirk first made its appearance. A normal childhood was something that he didn't get to experience growing up while his siblings were out in the courtyard playing.

Shoto, himself didn't know what caused the sudden appearance of the panicked state that he was in. One that made it difficult to get a proper breath. He had tried to find a quiet room to deal with it alone, but it seemed that Izuku managed to find him.

A hand on his back. A small nod while he was attempting to get that breath of air his lungs were desperate for. The words escaped him for now, but maybe after he got his breathing back to normal.

It was because of his friends and fellow classmates that Shoto was able to find shows and more reading material that he did enjoy.
