@celestialmancer's OC discussion/rambling/writing sideblog! Wanted a space specifically for OC discussion (be it fandom or non-fandom related) separate from my main, especially as some of the ramblings involving them may come from a more vulnerable place for me &/or are ramblings I can't always bring up in some spaces & thus, this blog makes diving into those things a bit easier for me. I may particularly focus on my characters Ishtar & Zion most, but there will be talk of other characters here depending how I feel.
A small heads-up: I can & will ramble a lot ! I have a lot to say about characters whenever I do dive into them, so I will be using read-mores on longer winded discussions so it doesn't clog anyone's tl.
Further, I will usually tag my ramblings with the respective OC it applies to, usually as "OC: [insert name here]", or in the case of characters I've made that I categorize differently from OCs, "C: [insert name here]". I'll update this post later with tags I use for characters as I sort stuff out here over time better, but yeah.
All that said, for those who follow I hope you enjoy your stay!
Notes to keep in mind:
The subjects I touch on in my work are not always lighthearted, triggering themes will come up for some characters especially in discussing backstories. These include, but are not limited to: ✰ Religious themes ✰ Abuse (emotional, physical, & sexual abuse all come up) ✰ Self destructive behaviors / unhealthy coping mechanisms ✰ Death / Suicide ✰ Alcohol / Substance abuse ✰ Violence / Gore ✰ Suggestive themes ✰ Unreality Any ramblings that touch on these themes will be tagged accordingly so you know what you're getting into if you decide to read.
Now, this should go without saying, but in case I have to spell it out: No, I do not condone the actions of some characters here nor am I condoning anything. Do not come at me with some judgmental nonsense concerning that.
I am open to answering asks on any OCs here as well, fandom related or not! Granted, in time I'll also set up an ask blog for Ishtar & Zion (Charter verse NSR AU), but that'll be once I have the opportunity in the future. (I also am open to answering asks on my art blog too concerning my OCs, BUT if its anything that I've only discussed on this specific blog then I'd rather keep it to here, a personal comfort thing).
I'm mostly neutral to reblogs for anything here for now... But if there's something I don't want reblogged at all, reblogs for the post will be turned off, so there's no guesswork involved.
