NO SHIPS ARE CANON. I can’t tell you how many times I see people (not usually on Tumblr) acting like their ships are canon or superior to others, or saying “ew, anyways ship [insert user’s favorite ship]”. And honestly? It’s gotten worse with Jax and Pomni interacting more in the past couple episodes. Interactions = a canon dynamic; but interactions ≠ a canon romance.

Nothing wrong with shipping what you’d like, to make posts about your favorite ships or viewing scenes from TADC through the lens of that dynamic. But remember that it’s ALL fanon, and while having fun with shipping isn’t bad, respect the show’s narrative for what it is—not just for ships.
