Someday, I hope people can see how Cyberpunk 2077 as a metaphor for being trans is up there with, possibly even greater than The Matrix.

You play a game where the character you control is someone who wants to be the very best in Night City, a *LIVING* legend (keep that in mind). This goal is formed due to them wanting to be remembered and get some sort of validation, confirmation even, that they mattered in a city where each and every single person living there gets chewed up and spit out, swallowing the dreams of anybody who wanted to be someone other than what the powers that be assign them as.

Now make a V a trans character and this is where it all hits hard. The Sun, in my eyes, is the *most* trans coded story I've ever seen in anything. V continues their goal of becoming a legend, to become who they've dreamed of being. And again, V wants to be a legendary merc because it's their one way to tell the world "I was here". Being a legend in Night City, in V's line of work, is to simply be alive so you can tell your tales and tell more. And now, think about all of the trans people in the world who are looked up to and revered as legends in the community because ***they are alive and can tell their tales and tell more***.

And why is it so legendary to live in Night City as a merc? Not just because it's a dangerous career, but mainly because of the city you're chasing this career in. The city that's again, known for shredding the hopes and dreams, even the lives of those who live in it. The city that is hostile to you because of the fact that you exist. The city that you actively go up against throughout the entire game in your quest ***to be remembered and prove that you matter***

To play as a trans V aiming for The Sun, is to experience a story where the takeaway from it is to Never Fade Away

Chainsaw Man headcanon: We know that Heaven exists "if there's a hell there is a heaven/vice versa" etc etc

So, if Devils are born in Hell/Earth and are humanity's fears given flesh, then what if Angels are part of the same cycle, but instead of humanity's fears they're humanity's hopes and dreams? Primal Fears of Hell, Innate Wishes of Heaven (idk a good name for em) Happiness Angel, Love Angel, Money Angel, etc etc etc

If Heaven and Angels were ever introduced into Chainsaw Man, this is how I'd love for it to work
