Okay, I caved. Here's my SLH OC, Nightmare.

He was sent to a mental hospital after a suicide attempt and somehow ended up at St. Lanier's instead, where he started helping around and coming up with things to do for the other patients as a distraction from the pain of being trapped in green pajama purgatory. He did this regularly enough and formed a close enough bond with several of the others that Dr. Abel hired him.

Pretty soon, her eyes were opened to Abel's awful treatment methods, and she became known to argue fiercely with him and Caine on a frequent basis (Caine thinks she's quite aptly named). Abel would have fired her, but she's the only one besides Zooble who's made progress on any of the patients, so he diagnosed her with ODD instead. You know, to "correct her volatility toward authority figures."

Really, Nightmare's irritability is caused by his depression, not ODD, but, as always, Abel chooses to focus on the wrong thing.
