It’s 11:44pm on Sunday night July 12th. Back for one night and then off till Friday night... it’s now 2:14am, had to do work.... don’t feel good. Tired as shit. Hungry but absolutely not hungry. I just wanna eat it would improve my life in literally every fucking aspect. Gotta stop drinking (and smoking probably). Too tired to think of anything else to say. Till next time...

Understanding your Love Language

Everyone has a “love language,” a primary way of expressing and interpreting love. This will vary from person to person, but will usually be just one (or two) of the following:

1. Words of Affirmation - If this is your love language, unsolicited compliments mean the world to you. Hearing the words, “I love you,” are important; hearing the reasons behind that love sends your spirits skyward. Insults can leave you shattered and are not easily forgotten.

2. Quality Time - Nothing says, “I love you” more than giving someone your full, undivided attention. Being there for this type of person is critical; but really being there—with the TV off, fork and knife down, and all chores and tasks on standby, makes your significant other feel truly special and loved. Distractions, postponed dates, or the failure to listen can be especially hurtful.

3. Receiving Gifts - Don’t mistake this love language for materialism. The receiver of gifts thrives on the love, thoughtfulness, and effort behind the gift. If you speak this language, the perfect gift or gesture shows that you are known, you are cared for, and you are prized above whatever was sacrificed to bring the gift to you.

4. Acts of Service - Can vacuuming the floors really be an expression of love? Absolutely! Anything you do to ease the burden of responsibilities weighing on an “Acts of Service” person will speak volumes. The words he or she most want to hear: “Let me do that for you.” Laziness, broken commitments, and making more work for them tell speakers of this language their feelings don’t matter.

5. Physical Touch - A person whose primary language is Physical Touch is, not surprisingly, very touchy. Hugs, pats on the back, holding hands, and thoughtful touches on the arm, shoulder, or face—they can all be ways to show excitement, concern, care, and love. Physical presence and accessibility are crucial, while neglect or abuse can be unforgivable and destructive.

7/7/20

Got out of bed around 4pm yesterday. Did an ab workout, showered, made dinner for work. Thomas slept with me throughout the day. I should just start bringing him in my room more I’m not sure why but I sleep so much better with him next to me. He’s the best. Spent the weekend having a blast. Muthcrew went over to Shelby’s for a pool day and then I went up to Higgins the next day and met Lex and the St. Charles gang for the 4th. Fucking blast. Was nice to be around people. Probably got covid. Broke into the pool after the bar. Again.... fucking BLAST. Thought shelby was being short with me cause I wasn’t with her. Wanted to talk to her about it and it caused another huge fight. Always end up feeling like it’s my fault. Not sure if that means it is but I should probs just stop... not sure what that even means but oh well. Maybe I really am missing having an actual relationship and I’m trying to replace that with a friendship. I don’t think I’m overbearing all the time. I know I am a lot. And I know it’s hard to be close with me. I seem to really fuck things up when people become close to me. Scary. Annoying. Ta ta for now..

Gonna try to journal something every day. Ate clean today before work, drank a lot of water, feeling better after my bender.... gotta stop doing that. Or I could drink like a normal person and eat accordingly as well... should probably take a hiatus till I get that under control. Gonna take a furlough from work... should make a plan and set up some tele therapy. Headspace is alright today, a lot better than last night. Cleaned my room, vacuumed, put my laundry away, installed the window unit cause it’s hot as FUCK out. Been in “quarantine” since the beginning of March. Weird. I’ve noticed the past 6 months that I’m finally starting to feel again like I did before meds. Nice after feeling like a psychopath for 6 years. FUCK MEDS. I’m currently smoking a cigarette thinking about whether I should run in the morning... dumbass. I’m starting to not rely on people unnecessarily or at least getting better at it.. I also started reading which is nice (untamed. Great fucking book) Makes me wish I was as in love as glennon and Abby. God being a les would be nice... fucking boys...
