“They do whatever they want, it’s like herding rats” — average dealing with the SHIELD team experience
Frank 100% has some super serum thing or something cause he consistently in every single show he’s in survives extreme bodily trauma that should have him dead many times over and if not dead very very disabled, like forever coma level
Watching punisher one last kill and this is simultaneously a really great commentary on ptsd and mental illness and grief and violence and a bit of a continuation of the themes of the second daredevil born again season and yet is also the most continuously graphic thing I’ve ever seen and though the violence furthers the plot and aids the commentary it’s too much and I’m very uncomfy.
Happy six years to The Kiss™!!!💜💙
It would've been fun for all of the guys who'd ever had feelings for Daisy be in the same room together not to see them fight over her or one-up each other or anything but to see Sousa, Robbie and Lincoln look at each other, nod and collectively beat the shit out of Ward
Usually when a character is extremely traumatised you want them to have a beach episode. Except for Phil Coulson, who already had a beach episode and that's 90% of the reason why he's extremely traumatised
next soc book/novella should be jesper and wylan figuring out how they can have their wedding without public suspicion when the guest list consists of the queen of fjerda and her husband, a random fjerdan guard, living saint dragon queen who just ended a war with fjerda, the dragon queen’s consort who was the former king of ravka, one of the grisha triumvirate of ravka who is also a famous tailor, an infamous gang leader and crime boss who owns all the best known clubs in Ketterdam, the son of the man who invented jurda parem, and an urban legend pirate queen vigilante who’s Ketterdam’s most wanted.
One time I went to an arcade/game store with a friend and a friend of a friend and it was this kinda small store from that was largely taken up my magic the gathering tables, pcs, and dance dance revolution games and other similar rhythm games. It introduced me to a level of nerd that I didn’t realize was actually real. It was like all those characatures of pathetic men who live in their moms basement who basically only game and sit on Reddit but they were all freakily good at skill based physical games. I played skeeball and galaga the whole time and then bought three Lego ds games. I was not the genre of nerd for this place and felt it and it was an interesting cultural experience I will never forget.
Imagine this:
The Avengers (yes, all the Avengers) are at their lowest. The Thunderbolts have no idea what to do. Half the X-Men are defeated. Doctor Doom stands nearly triumphant, about to initiate his final plan and bring darkness to all realms in the multiverse
Then
We hear a distinct, almost hollow vibrating sound. Doom's armguards begin to shake. The Avengers wonder what could be happening, if there's some sort of an earthquake, when--
Daisy Johnson bursts through the door, hitting Doom square in the chest with a quake blast. She looks at everyone else, head cocked like, "what up?"
Behind her, a flaming portal opens. Mack streams out with his shotgun axe, directing May, Davis, and Piper. Sousa is at their side, helping the fallen up. We hear FitzSimmons over the intercom. Elena zips out, unarming all of Doom's guards before they get the chance to blink. Bobbi and Hunter join in the fight and knock them out, squabbling the entire time. Robbie pops out, Ghost Rider just at bay
And finally, just as the portal begins to close, a lone figure steps through. Phil Coulson, the same as ever, a small smile coming to his face as he regards all the superheroes. Only one word escapes his lips:
"Hey"
I really wish we could've seen these three being a badass vigilante trio together for more than one scene
enoch: "this will be the hardest thing you've ever done... you will change the natural course of your lives forever!!!"
fitzsimmons: "ohh that again, yeah yeah"
sometimes I think Talbot is the only human in a muppet movie
Ngl it's very funny to me that there are mcu fans who don't know about aos and think that Coulson just stayed dead after the Avengers. Like wdym you don't know that he had a truly magical beach holiday that resulted in him carving alien patterns into walls? You didn't hear about how he jumped out of a plane with explosions all around him and managed to aim for the titchy portal to another planet where the squid guy who inspired the devil lived?? That he was imprisoned in a digital reality where he was a history teacher who made his own soap?? That his kids missed him after he died slightly more permanently so they made an alien robot with his memories and personality??? Yeah he was even ghost rider for like five minutes
