Dating in Hogwarts

So we all know that dating someone in your house is totally normal and cool

I mean it just makes sense, right? Why would you wanna date somebody who's totally different?

Except it makes so much sense!

We all know about the idea of a badass Slytherin dating the cute cinnamon bun Huffelpuff

And we all also know about a Slytherin dating a Gryffindor just for fucks sake

But have you thought about a Ravenclaw dating a Slytherin?

Not only would they be the perfect duo to run over the world and absolutely gain immense power, they woul justbe perfect for each other:

I mean an ambitious Ravenclaw studying the whole night? Slytherin totally gets that because they do that all the time (maybe for different reasons but still!)

Wanting to execute everything perfectly? Totally normal in this relationship.

Maybe they would be competitive but in a good way though

And all the insults on such a high academical level (it honestly sounds like heaven!)

Or have you thought about a Gryffindor jock with one (1) braincell and a intelligent Ravenclaw?

The Ravenclaw explaining anytging to the Gryffindor and them getting lost in their eyes

A (a little bit confused but SO supportive) Ravenclaw attending a Quidditch match and ALWAYS rooting for Gryffindor no matter what

Ravenclaw watching tge practice and pretending to read a book but really making sure they don't fall

Gryffindore admiring their s/o studying

But also Hufflepuffs being in love with a Ravenclaw (cause that sounds so SO good)

A Hufflepuff going to the library at 3 in the night to bring their Ravenclaw s/o tea and a blanket

Them both sitting at the lake in the summers and Ravenclaw reading or studying and Huflepuff is maybe drawing or just admiring them

A Ravenclaw attending ALL the things their Hufflepuff s/o parttakes in (I'm talking theater plays, concerts, even going to the kitchen with them to watch them bake)

It would be so SO lovely!

Roommates

Imagine wolfstar being conpletely platonic roommates after school (obv they haven't secretly been in love w/ eachother since year five)

So they're roommates and one night after getting drunk in the three broomsticks Sirius gets Remus to dance with him

They're in socks and slide over the floor while blasting Queen

And Sirius crashes into Remus because he's drunk and clumsy and they kiss

And Sirius is like "oh my god what have I dine he'll hATE me!"

But little does he know Remus feels the same

So Remus freaks out internally because he's had a crush on Sirius for AGES

So he kisses him again because fuck it why not

And the next day when they visit James and Lily and baby Harry they arrive holding hands

And Lilly and James just look at each other knowing

Hear me out

Hogwarts houses as aesthetics

We're all aware of the fact that are Cottagecore and Plant moms/dads/guardians. Just so soft sweeties that love to care for you (yes obviously they are also the parents of the friend group)

The Ravenclaws have all kinds of academia because even though they love studying some of them are punk. But next to the academia people we also have the super artsy b*tches who draw and play instruments and are so extremly creative

Obviously the Slytherins are boujie but I love the idea that some Halfbloods are hardcore grunge/punkrock and show their classmates so they form a perfect mix of very expensive hardrock (They also bring the punk mindset so after starting to dress punkrock they also start to hate white supremarcy)

And our beloved Gryffindors are a beautiful mix between jocks and insta baddies. But in memory of Remus John Lupin we have some softies to accompany their badass Quidditch friends

I also love the idea that, as soon as you are in a relationship with someone of a different house, your aesthetics start to mix (because stealing each others clothes is SUPER cool) (no onestly that's the best part of a relationship)

So the older students in Ravenclaw start to learn extremly much about plants because their girlfriend is in Hufflepuff and likes to take care of plants

And we have some Slytherins girls who start to dress less 'fancy' and start to wear neon colors and crop tops instead of just black because their Gryffindor girlfriend is an insta baddie

And we have some Gryffindore jocks wearing super soft big-ass jumpers because their Ravenclaw boyfriend is super nerdy and his jumers are SO soft

And we have Hufflepuffs wearing band tees from their Slytherin significant other in the summer time because even though it's black, the Pink Floyd shirt still has a rainbow on it

The noble house of Black

Just to set things straight I am 100% sure of exactly two things in life rn

It is extremly annoying to learn new skills but propably really worth it (I'm learning how to play the Ukulele rn and it hurts like a bitch but I love the progress)

Every and I'm saying EVERY Black Boy is SUCH a bottom!

For example Sirius: he acts like a punk rock but he's the perfect power bottom for our favourite bisexual nerd, Remus Lupin (also Sirius has a praise kink and it's SO fun for Remus to sleep with him because he's like "you're doing so good" and Sirius will go OFF)

And Draco is the most perfect bottom for Harry (and I'm talking book-Harry not movie-Harry). Because in the book they're both snarky and sarcastic and sassy. So I think Draco desperatly needs somebody who's actually able to keep up with him. (Oh and also Draco has SO OBVIOUSLY Daddy Issues and I'm here for it)

Beside Drarry and Wolfstar I also wanna shortly talk about Jegulus. Like maybe they had a short thing going on before James commited to Lilly and I'm HERE dor it! Regulus shurely has SO many problems and James would be the kind of top who's caring and so SO loving and that would just go SO perfectly together

So,yeah I truly believe that every queer Black- boy is a bottom

Ok but imagine clubs in Hogwarts:

Like a poetry club slowly forms because a few Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs start writing for fun in the library and a few dark academia Slytherins notice and join in so every Tuesday night the poetry club meets up in the library

The Gryffindor jocks start running in the morning and take a swim afterwards in the lake to stay healthy and the other houses join in to get the summer body they desire

A few muggle borns start practicing their instruments so soon we have a small orchestra that has its annual summer concert

Next to the orchestra we have a band. But like a real band. They start with covering muggle songs but soon we have Slytherins with electrical guitars and Hufflepuffs with keyboards and ukuleles and Ravenclaws with drums and Gryffindors that sing so good and they make their own songs (and obviously the orchestra lets them play at the concert, too)

And we have a nice artists club. They form simmilar like the poetry club. In the beginning a few artsy Hufflepuffs go outside and start painting and sketching together (cause it's more fun). But soon you can see 20 people sitting under a tree by the lake every Friday after classes and they draw together and they teach each other new skills and admire the art the other people create and help eachother with inspiration (and obviously you can still come when you're in art block rn)

And my favourite is the LGBT+ club. I truely believe it was started by Sirius and Dorcas back in the Marauders time. They would just sit in the Gryffindore common room and Sirius would cry about his secret crush (Remus) and Dorcas about her secret crush (Marlene) but as soon as the crushes weren't crushes anymore but real relationships they would sit in the common room with their bf and gf and talk about LGBT+ rights. When they were talking by the lake a Hufflepuff overheard them and was like: hey, I'm nonbinary! What are you talking about? So soon there were many people sitting together discussing LGBT things (not just how the muggle world was slowly improving with the rights but also how the wizarding world wasn't). And because the gays are everywhere there are still, to this day, members of the LGBT community sitting around Hogwarts and mourning about how the rights that were achieved back in the day are slowly taken away from us.
