# ✶ THE CHRYSALID'S HYMN

⤷ A long-term semi-lit/literate Warrior Cats roleplay

Moons ago, a Twoleg city once densely populated was abandoned after a nearby nuclear reactor melted down. Massive amounts of radiation were hurled into the air. All Twoleg residents were evacuated and told to leave their pets behind. Weeks went by without the return of their owners. Thus, the house cats who were left behind banded together and hid underground.

Now, 30 years later, this once peaceful group has been torn in two by dissonance. The Dawnseekers, having had enough of hiding away underground, split off from the Ruinwalkers to settle beyond the limits of the inner city just 10 moons ago. The tension between both Clans continues to grow stronger and more brutal with each passing moon.

**The Ruinwalkers**, a traditionalist group descended from former house cats, claim an abandoned subway system.

**The Dawnseekers**, a more proactive group recently split off from the Ruinwalkers, rule over the ruins of the city outskirts.
