like i learned my lesson a while ago with glazing politicians but i do think mamdani like…making ppl glitch out is the biggest indicator that things are not where they should be, like why is a democratic (socialist) leaning politician denouncing genocide and israel a rarity now……why is that something we cant get from regular democrats ….that should not be the standard…the democrats have been largely playing centrist fields 4 like well ever atp and that’s horrible………mamdani should not be the first and only person i think of when someone ask is there any democrat currently in office that i trust to say genocide is genocide

I am exhausted and frustrated by white people's cries of helplessness and confusion. I am tired of comments insisting nothing can be done, that (white) americans need only to focus on themselves and their mental health, and I am sick of hearing about the discomfort of white people. You can scroll past a picture of a mother holding her child's corpse, because it is only a picture to you, but that mother is alive and that child is alive. You can disconnect after reading the Epstein files (after, of course, making some tasteless gay jokes), but those girls were and are alive. The victims of atrocities are real, they are human and people, and the more we as a society refuse to let ourselves feel guilt, shame, anger, grief, the further we disconnect ourselves from humanity.

I do not want to hear about white people being uncomfortable anymore. I want, I need us to fucking cry.
