Lupus Branding: Introduction
A few years ago, I got an email from an acquaintance to work with a lupus support group. The founder was looking for (pro-bono) help on developing the branding for the group.
After a few conversations, and an assessment of their web presence, my goals focused on 3 areas:
Branding exercise to fill in gaps in branding identity
Logo development
A style guide to help ensure consistent communication. The style guide was for colors and use of the logo, not for a website.
Although the founder and I eventually parted before making it past step 2, I continued to independently develop style concepts. in this case, I focused them on the web, as it was just a conceptual exercise.
These were based on three branding points we had discussed: loving, support, and strength. I wanted to explore each idea on it's own. The site styles do not follow the logo styles.
