I made a cringy BNA: Brand New Animal self-insert.

Rei Ogami! Shirou’s daughter. She’s not immortal, nor does she have any powers like him, she’s purely self-indulgent. I did a simple headshot to get some facial features down. And used a F2U base to get a palette and “design” down until I commission her actual reference sheets

The pink nose version is purely for me to color pick for some baby art of her. I think it would be so cute to draw a baby Rei with a pink nose, paw pads, and floppy ears.

I have artists for reference sheets of both her human and Beast form lined up.

Anyways instead of drawing their faces I put their godly forms as the bg! Had to dim down the Silver Wolf bitch is genuinely the brightest thing ever 💀💀 But this takes place after Kalbir finally sees Shirou after years of assuming he’s gone forever (even though he knew he was an immortal), and sort of breaking down because he still doesn’t know why he was left behind, and believes that it was his need for companionship that wouldn’t leave him that drifted them apart. Truth is Shirou left because he thought his Silver Wolf was a danger (which is canon bc he stopped using it for a while), and because he believes he can’t stop killing, and that he’s hurting Kalbir by creating more souls for him to see.

But if you notice, the Silver Wolf is in a more protective position- Shirou might have left, but he still has one of his first companions dear to his heart and will protect him. The Black Panther is more stalking, slowly coming up to him- swirly eyes indicating it’s hypnotised- like how Kalbir is obsessed with having a friend that won’t die off.

Sigh. Happy pride month everyone :))

I might post the one shot of Divine Catdog I wrote on here and then cross post it on AO3, but have him!

He’s less a god and more of a Grim Reaper, guiding souls to the afterlife while Shirou guides the beastmen to live. He’s a bit numb when it comes to death but otherwise he’s very expressive and lively, the complete opposite of the quiet Shiroun he’s suppose to have toned arms but my style does not let me do that LMAOO- but the old art repost will be under the reference cut bc I’ll use this post as a main link for people to see him

I was playing around with colors, came out with this concept

Supposed to look like a tarot card- used the neon concept that BNA art contains + sorta wanted to make it look like a mural (also red + blue duos never fail). Shirou is bleeding from his neck and Kalbir has the blood coming from his chest; the blood are the colors that usually represent the each of them (Cyan for Shirou Gold for Kalbir). Their bloods ‘intertwine’, like they’re becoming one whole instead of two halves. ‘Death’ is the one catching the stream ‘Life’ gives to them, and some other symbolism’s I forgot

If I were hyperfixated on a canon ship I think I’d be fairly popular… oh well I guess I’m stuck with my own crazy thoughts 💀💀💀💀
