Album title: Ugh, Those Feelings Again

If Snoh’s recent album had looks, it would be stunning. With such a mature sound and gorgeous flowing instrumentals, this album is sure to make listeners feel pretty.

With 14 tracks, “Ugh, Those Feelings Again” takes listeners deep into Snoh’s relationship conflicts, lusts and dreams. Although lyrics can seem sorrowful at times, Snoh uses more up beat tempos that maintains the feeling that songs can be danced to.

The first song I heard off the album was “I Want You Around” and I had to find out if the artist had more music out. Luckily she did. Now some of my favourites include “Fine Someone Like You” and “Toronto”.

Artist: Sabrina Claudio

Album: no rain, no flowers.

Sabrina’s latest album is exactly what I expected to hear.

With intense, raw and sexy vocals, to smooth and diverse slow pop sounds, the young artist delivered what she does best. Sexy and deep music.

Just reading the titles of her songs gives you the impression of what tone the young singer wants to set for her latest project. Take “Come Here,” “Naked,” and “Numb” for example. Just these song titles alone express intimate vibes without having to hear her music.

The song “Messages From Her’ and “Naked” are more of the popular song off the album, but my personal favourite is “Did We Loose Our Minds.” The slow introduction into a loud and vocally heavy melody, is what I love most about the record.

With only 8 songs, such a “short” track list is becoming more rare post-2017 popular music. Artists seem to be releasing as much as they can on albums, with many artists reaching track list of 18 plus songs. Sabrina hold back from this trend, something I would say was a smart move, allowing fans to focus in on her sounds and in on her thoughts.

EP: Shanti

Raveena brings smooth jams to a feminine and modern level with her EP Shanti.

Think Sabrina Claudio and SZA mixed together. A well constructed project made of lyrical perfections, and relaxed but mastered production. An album to make love to, and only love.

“If Only” is one of the more popular tracks from the EP, but all the tracks deserve resignation and no skip overs.

For a more upbeat song give a listen to “Love Child”, while “Natural” takes it real slow and relaxed.
