She carefully cuts into her pancake. “Well you did sign up for this yourself. But I’ll admit it it was very very fun.”

"That it was." He leans in and kisses both Lute and Alexis on the cheek. "Still Lute, your endurance was extraordinary."

She sips some water. “Of course it is. I’m the lieutenant for a reason.”

"Lute, you are lucky I can regenerate but still you would just not stop for hours. I think Alexis liked it more watching us." He chuckled.

Tirimor just patiently brushes Alexis's hair until he can feel no knots in it. That is when he starts to help braiding it.

“Tirimor… is it me or does she feel like really warm?”

“She usually is warm just like you are. I mean, you are incapable of getting sick.”

“Lute, you and her are divine beings. It’s literally incapable of you getting sick. However, we can go and get her a check up if that will lessen your worries.”

“Does that apply to exorcists ?! I know seraphim and higher ranking angels can’t get sick but… yeah let’s get her checked I’ll get the thermometer.” She gives Alexis to tirimor.

Tirimor easily holds Alexis close with both arms. He holding her gently as he waits for Lute to come back.

She flys back in and puts the thermometer between Alexis’s arm and body. “Now we wait for five minutes.”

Tirimor still held Alexis, he also now looking a bit worried. “If she is sick then I don’t understand how did she considering you are angels.”

“We are basically killing machines …a lot don’t consider us as angels ….” She takes the thermometer. “Oh… it’s a bit high… fuck…”

“That is bullshit as even if you are Exorcists you are still angels. If she is indeed sick then the best thing for her will be rest.”

She takes Alexis from tirimor and flys off with her tucking her into bed. “There. “ she kisses her head.

“Still, how the fuck did she get sick? Hopefully it is just something simple like the flu. She will just need rest, drink plenty of water and take some medicine.”

She was just about to send a pic when she realized she was texting Lilith instead of dog Alexis.

When she got the message, Lilith went pale.

She did not even resort to texting, she literally called her back while running to the balcony to check where was the chaos coming from.

"Pick up, you little demonic angel..."

Lute realized that Lilith might have taken it wrongly she picked up the phone.

“Okey… you might have taken what I texted literally. I was talking about a game…. As in a video game….”

She paused after that because it was hard to admit she liked a game her friend got her.

"Yeah, sure!" Lilith was looking frantically from her balcony to search for the chaos, yet there was... Nothing? Weird. Surely an active extermination would be chaotic enough to be heard from here. "Where are you hiding, you little gremlin?!"

“I’m not hiding anywhere !”Lute yells. “I’m not in hell you dumb bitch!”

She sends Lilith a screenshot of doom. Indeed lute had killed a lot of demons… but in a video game. She started laughing on the line.
