I like open ended RadioApple where it can go romantic or queer platonic besties. The QRP being old fashioned affectionate men who are friends who do kiss each other on the cheeks or foreheads because of how this love is profound. It is pure unadulterated love for another without expectations. It can be read as queer romantic but is open ended enough to be platonic as well.

Where toxic masculinity is not an equation here as these two can be comfortable in each other’s presence. They can be close because there is trust here. There is trust and affection. Even if it does go into the unconventional. But this, sitting together and bantering and staying in the presence of the other is absolutely enough.
