phoenix offered her a small smile, clearly embarrassed thanks to the pink flush spreading on his cheeks. “y-yeah, my bad,” he said as he looked over her folder and nodded. “good. that looks pretty, uh, important.”
arielle smiled at him, “no big deal.” she glanced down at her folder before looking back up at him, “it is pretty important. medical records, patient information, my notes. things like that. it would be really awful if i lost any of it.”

the boy wasn’t paying any attention, clearly, or else he would’ve dodged the girl who came right for him. “oh, no, no, i’m sorry,” he said as he stood frozen on the sidewalk. “it was probably my fault.”
arielle looked up at him as she finished shoving all the files back into her folder, “i don’t think either of us were paying much attention.” she shrugged and pushed herself off the ground, holding the papers close to her side. “nothing was swept away in the wind and lost, so no harm done.”

Evangeliya was hurriedly making her way towards the hospital, having received an emergency call on such short notice. Caught up in her world as she tried to gather her keys and belongings, she hardly noticed the other person walking towards her until their bodies collided. She saw papers flying and a grimace settled on the girl’s face. “Oh god, I am so sorry,” she explained, bending over to gather the files she had knocked from the others arms.
arielle shook her head as the other girl bent over to help her, “don’t apologize, it was my fault. my mind was somewhere else.” she said as she picked her papers up. she thanked the other girl for helping her before continuing, “you were in quite a hurry, do you need something from the hospital? i work there, maybe i can help.”

“oh no it’s my fault.” charlie apologized, bending down to pick up the papers he had partially caused her to drop. “i was not really paying attention well. so what are all these papers for?”
arielle looked over at him as he helped her reclaim the contents of her folder, “they’re medical records and my notes and things like that. i’m a pediatrician here at the hospital.” she said as she finished shoving everything back into the overflowing folder. “it’s hard work, but i love it.”

a mix between a gasp and a laugh broke out of safia’s lips, smiling at the other while she bent down to help pick up the mess. ❛ no worries, it happens, ❜ she assured, extending her hand out to return a stack of papers she’d managed to stack together. ❛ hard night at work ? ❜
arielle gave the other girl a small smile, “thank you.” she said tiredly as she took the papers back from her. “not so much hard as long. twelve hour shifts at a hospital can really drain a person.” she let out the smallest of laughs as she shrugged, “that’s what comes with being a doctor, though.”

winona was totally not going to bend down for that. the brunette shrugged a bit, folding her arms across her chest. ‘ – it’s fine. ‘ she didn’t really want to ask about her welfare but… it would have been the nicer thing to do, so a very grudging – ‘ are you okay ? ‘ slipped from her mouth.
arielle nodded, “yeah, i’m fine.” she didn’t really know what to make of this whole interaction, she had probably just caught the other girl in a bad mood. “anyways - have a good rest of your night. hopefully other people are more conscious of their surroundings than me.” she said with a light smile.

a soft left arielle’s lips at the compliment, only causing her smile to widen as she kept her eyes on her friend. she was relieved that her suggestions wasn’t simply rejected, and found herself nodding eagerly as she told the short story. ❛ well then it’s good that arielle is here for the rescue. ❜ the blonde teased, just before she was glancing back towards her car while simultaneously pointing behind her. ❛ i drove here right after i got off, we could meet at a restaurant? i’m honestly down for anything, so wherever you want is perfectly fine with me. although somewhere with a bar would be great. ❜ the blonde spoke, a small laugh leaving her as her head tilted slightly.
arielle nodded, “alright, well let’s go to rhode’s bar. i’m pretty sure they have a small food menu there. we can drive separately and meet up there?” she suggested, pushing some of her dark hair out of her face, “i definitely need a drink too, it’s been a long day.”

“ can you reach me to do damage? you’re about…5′4″. 5′5″, maybe. i got a whole foot on you, ” griffin joked, a smile gracing his lips. he eyed the folder, pointing to it as he spoke. “ what’s in there? america’s biggest secrets? can you tell me if aliens are real? ”
arielle smirked, “i’m 5′4″, but there’s no way you’re 6′4″.” she said with a small laugh. she looked down at her folder when he brought it up, “these are my patients’ records. medical information, charts, notes, all those kinds of things. maybe not big scandals or aliens, but i think it’s more important than either of those.”

on her way to get a coffee after filling out the final release forms, shiloh wasn’t exactly watching where she was going. her mind was elsewhere and coupled with exhaustion, her caution was practically nonexistent. it wasn’t until she felt someone bump into her that she was forced back into reality. “ oh, i’m so sorry –, ” she began, bending down to pick up a few papers nearby. “ you’re fine. i wasn’t looking either. are you okay ?? ”
arielle looked at the other girl with a small smile, “oh yeah, i’m fine. are you?” she collected everything in her reach and took the other papers from shiloh, “thank you. i promise i’ll pay better attention next time.”

‘ yeah, you definitely should have ! ‘ she was trying to keep her voice from rising into a shriek as she got bulldozed into. however, the brunette found it rather difficult. ‘ i take it that you were never taught to look at your surroundings ? ‘
arielle busied herself with picking up the papers that had scattered across the pavement, “i’m sorry.” she apologized again, eyes trained on the ground, “i just got off a long shift at the hospital, my senses are a little shot.” she pushed herself off the ground and looked at the other girl, “i’m really sorry.”

griffin stopped in his track abruptly as someone collided into him, letting out a small huff of air as he took a step back to watch the girl. he shook his head, leaning over to assist her in picking up the collection of papers that scattered the sidewalk. “ no harm done, ” he shrugged, standing up and handing her her items. “ you’re just a little too small to knock me on my ass. ”
arielle looked up at him shyly as a tiny laugh escaped her, “i suppose, i’m not really capable of doing any real damage unless i really try to.” she took her papers back from him and shoved them into her folder, “thank you - losing this information could have been potentially disastrous.”

arielle had just gotten off work when she decided to surprise her friend after work. she found her way to the hospital, hoping to catch the other female before she left. and it seemed she got exactly that when she noticed her leaving the building. quickly, arielle was making her way over, only to be distracted by a loud horn at the intersection down the street, and a surprise yelp leaving her when she was suddenly colliding with the other arielle. ❛ oh god, ❜ she responded as she reached down, handing the papers over to arielle with the shake of her head, a laugh leaving her lips. ❛ i guess my plan to surprise you worked out, i should have been paying better attention. i uh, got distracted within the ten second span of time it took to beat you to your car. ❜ handing the last paper over, arielle was standing up and letting her hands rest on her hips. ❛ now that my presence has been announced, i was wondering if you wanted to do something. maybe get drinks, or stop somewhere and pick up dinner? i could use an arielle squared night. ❜ she spoke with a soft laugh.
arielle grinned when she realized it was her best friend she had collided with. she let out a small laugh as they picked up her papers, “you’re so sweet, ari.” arielle had no idea how she got so lucky, she had the best best friend in the whole world. “i’d love to get dinner! i’m absolutely starving. my dinner break was cut short by a call from an overprotective parent who was freaking out about her kid scraping their knee.” she shrugged, “comes with the job, i guess.” arielle grinned at the other girl, “so where do you wanna go? and did you drive here?”
arielle had just finished a long shift at the hospital and was trudging her way to her car when she literally ran into somebody and dropped the overflowing folder she was cradling, “oh shit -” she bent over and started to pick it up, “i should have watched where i was going -”
