I am wearing black to thank and honour all of the brave whistle-blowers who came forward and shared their stories of harassment and assault and discrimination. Iām wearing black to stand in solidarity with my sisters all over the globe, and Iām here to celebrate the roll out of this incredible initiative Timeās Up. Time is up, and we want diversity, and we want intersectional gender parity. We want equal pay. You know, I was so shocked to hear that E doesnāt believe in paying their female co-hosts the same as their male co-hosts. I miss Catt Sadler, and so we stand with herā¦.and thatās something that can change tomorrow. You know, we want people to start having this conversation that women are just as valuable as men [ā¦] Itās so thrilling that there now is this Timeās Up legal defence fund that has 15 million dollars in it so far, in a very short time, and please donate, because all of that money is going to go to working class women all over, who need funds for advocacy and legal representation, who have been harassed and assaulted and this is not about Hollywood. It is about every woman in every industry globally. As someone in this industry, we need equal representation, so we want 50/50 by 2020. 50 percent women and 50 percent men by 2020, and within that 50 percent, 30 percent women of colour.
