It’s a lot of work to plan a tour, and I can’t say I’m a gifted admin. The easy option would be to wait for “someone somewhere” to show up and make it happen. The problem is, we could end up waiting the rest of our lives and eventually fade into a disappointed hindsight. I love playing music and sharing it with other humans. Although it’s not my favorite thing to be my own manager, I just gotta say that it’s the people we meet along the road, the long drives of self examination, the amazing conversations and the joy of sharing art that really makes it special. I’m looking forward to seeing old and new friends this summer as we cruise across North America sharing the art we’ve created and celebrating the beauty of connection . 📷: @jeffduke_

I've spent 2000 miles on the road in the last few days. Lots of time to think and reflect and pray. I keep coming back to this idea that love outlasts all other pursuits that I could put my hands to, and therefore, it's the one thing that is worthwhile above all else. It doesn't discredit dreams or expression, but actually gives a framework of meaning to the things we do. Any expression or art or pursuit should ultimately be an overflow of this love. Like a river finding its source and destination in the sea. It may take form in rain, mist or stream, but ultimately and finally, it departs and returns to the same destination. Without love, even the greatest deeds are a resounding gong. Without love, we have nothing. But when love fuels our endeavors, we have something that is of greater value than the act itself.
