i actually have their whole first meeting planned out ok wait hold on

so lile wallace is currently traveling in kyoto and his gps doesnt work for shit and he's pretty lost. he comes across a local bar and he goes inside to try and order a beer but the bartender doesnt understand him at all, he's irritated and he spots katsuro whos sitting nearby.

he asks for help and katsuro who only knows a little bit of english doesnt understand but gets the hint bcs wallace explains with gestures 🫩🫩🫩🫩 so he orders a beer and thinks thats js it but wallace asks if he wants to go with him to the festival street market nearby (again explaining with gestures)

katsuro tries to refuse but wallace is so fuckin persistent and katsuro doesnt wanna risk any huge trouble (look he doesnt wanna get kidnapped ok) so he agrees 😭😭😭 and yeah thats basically it, they go down the street markets and wallace buys food (like the one he's eating rn which is takoyaki) and tells stories abt his podcast even tho katsuro doesnt understand clearly

they end up exchanging numbers

to wallace their first meeting was romantic, to katsuro it was intimidating
