People will say things like “Do you remember in Harry Potter when...”

Of course I fucking remember. There’s not a part I don’t remember. You think I don’t remember that reading Sonnets of a Sorcerer will make you speak in limericks for the rest of your life or that Ireland won but Krum caught the snitch. Or that Slughorn’s fish was named Francis. Or the song that the Valentine’s dwarf delivered to Harry from Ginny. ‘His eyes are as green as a fresh pickled toad’ is a ditty embossed on my brain for the rest of time just fucking try me I have all the knowledge and I am always ready.

I thought I was Ravenclaw for the longest time too but then I turned out to be hufflepuff. I even took the quiz twice and said hufflepuff both times. It took me a while to get used to it

yay, accepting who you are is important! I’m just not sure if I should keep identifying as a ravenclaw or as a hufflepuff when people ask

Always thought I was a Ravenclaw too but Pottermore sorted me into Hufflepuff three different times across three years. I didn't like it at first but I do now. Puff pride y'all!

Discrimination

I would like to take a moment to address some personal discrimination I've been dealing with. Everywhere I go, I feel underrepresented. If you're a Gryffindor or Slytherin, then you can find your clothing, accessories, etc. pretty much anywhere. The occasional Ravenclaw item. But Hufflepuff? NO. What does a Puff gotta do to find a damn tank top?! A headband?! ANYTHING?!?!

Last few times I got sorted I was in Ravenclaw and I have strongly identified as a Ravenclaw for years, I just redid the sorting test though and this time I was in Slytherin! Very excited although I know I’m still a Ravenclaw really. I also got a Rowan wand instead of my usual Dogwood, and apparently “ no Dark witch or wizard ever owned a rowan wand” which I think is a lovely and stereotype breaking combination with Slytherin. Nice to know which two houses the sorting hat would doubt between.

I’ve taken it three times over the past three years (first account, second account a few months later out of curiosity, and just a couple days ago because I lost my log in for original) and I got the same wand and Hufflepuff all three times!

That’s amazing, I only got the same core and wood twice. How nice it must be to be such a true Hufflepuff!

I was mad at first because I always viewed Puffs as the least interesting but I love it now. I was really nervous retaking it a couple days ago because I was scared to be sorted differently. I took the quiz on go to quiz after I re logged this earlier and I got 77% Hufflepuff, so yes, I am a Puff through and through. (Ravenclaw 64%, Slytherin 43%, Gryffindor 24%)
