Impending doom
everyone in the gang would say killer is the most annoying member and they want to kick him out or bitch slap him every chance they get, but the moment something happens to him they collectively go feral.
First and foremost, killer always seems like he's going to survive whatever happens to him, so when he's actually badly hurt, everyone are so shocked and so devastated they won't know what to do with themselves.
overprotective.
I love the idea of ink being this big bulit dude that towers over classic.
When nightmare goes too far, and it usually happens to killer, the other members get ready to go physical if necessary. No matter if they get hurt in the process.
Alone, in an abandoned Au, swap is left with a dying classic sans. The only thing he can do is hope that his friends find him before it's too late.
Finally, I'm able to post this. It's from an Au I have in mind. Hopefully, I'll post more of them in the future..
(swap sans belongs to Popcornpr1nce)

Reminder that canon Jiang Cheng is:
- Self-sacrificing. There have been numerous examples in the book where JC is willing to lay down his life for his family and sect without a second thought. Charging at Wen Chao and Wen Zhuliu in the turtle cave. Stepping in front of his mother to protect her from the core melter hand. Distracting the Wen before they discovered WWX. Offering himself as a hostage in return for JL in the Guanyin Temple incident, etc.
- Fiercely protective of his family. The above bullet point elaborates on this part well. But I would also like to add that he is extremely protective of JL. He follows him on nighthunts and is the first person JL calls for whenever he is in trouble. The moment JL sends out a flare, JC is instantly in there, dropping everything for him.
- He allows JL to be a child. Despite the historic context and the stiff upper lip attitudes of that time period, JC allows JL to be a child still. He is spoilt rotten and never knew the same horrors those of his previous generation had to endure. JC does all he can to keep him safe from that to prevent similar incidents from happening again. He also allows JL to healthily express his emotions and never once scolds him for crying. The moment he sees him upset, he's in there soothing him, ready to throw hands with whoever hurt him.
- He doesn't use corporal punishment methods on JL despite it being the norm of that society. JL explains this to WWX who was shocked to discover that JC doesn't punish JL, despite his threats. JL is horrified by the notion and is very comfortable and secure around his uncle. Secure enough to give him sass even, something JC would never dreamed of doing to his elders.
- He is an excellent and attentive leader. He built his sect from the ground up and recruited people on his own all whilst he was still a teenager, still recovering from trauma and torture. He brought his sect back from the brink of annihilation and built it back up as a major sect on very minimal experience with little next to no guidance.
- He's politically savvy. From a young age, he was always socially aware of everything, valuing the safety of his sect and family above everything else. He correctly predicted WWX's downfall and tried so much to warn him and save him from it. Powerless in that moment, he chose his sect over WWX in fear of them being annihilated a second time should he side with him. WWX understood and respected this, so defected of his own accord.
- He still believed in WWX and held onto hope for him, even when things were looking bleak. Despite WWX siding with the Wen, the sect that almost annilihated his own, JC allowed WWX to go with them and remained friends up until WWX inadvertently got JZX and JYL killed. He still allowed WWX to see his sister and even name his nephew. They visited each other in secret regularly despite the risks of being caught, and JC tried to defend him even in the face of the three most strongest sects. He wasn't successful, but he tried.
- He is more reasonable and level-headed than the rumours lead you to believe. We see this when the prostitute comes to testify about JGY. He calmly considers her word and everything she has to say. Not once was he rude or snappy with her. He also remembers his etiquette and addresses elders with manners and respect. He may at times be quick to anger, but he is also quick to calm himself down and conduct himself properly as we see in his first scene where he lets "MXY" go, despite being a practicing demonic cultivator.
- He let's WWX go in the end. The moment he learns the truth about everything and that WWX wasn't entirely guilty for everything everyone accused him of, JC drops all feelings of aminosoty towards him. He doesn't blame him, nor does he actively pursue him anymore and demand he answers for his "crimes." JC got all the answers he wanted from him and instead of holding on to grudges and resentment, he let WWX go to be happy with LWJ, despite clearly wanting him to come back to Lotus Pier. He understands and respects that WWX is ready to move on and start a new life with LWJ. It hurts him, but he respects that decision.
There are many more positive traits I could discuss here, but I'll be here all day if I did.
JC is a nuanced character with a lot of flaws, but he also has a lot of positives that make his character realistic and relatable but also very likeable. He is a traumatised man with a troubled past, but he never allowed it to truly bring him down. He persevered, built up his sect, and raised a nephew with a pure heart. I think it's safe to say that despite his problems and despite everything he has gone through, JC is a survivor with a strong heart. He has a lot of admirable traits that you mustn't ignore or deny if you truly wish to enjoy and appreciate his character.
To understand Jiang Cheng is to understand that he's not the golden child or the scapegoat
Wei Wuxian is both of those
Wei Wuxian is Jiang Fengmian's Golden Child and Madame Yu's Scapegoat
But to both of them Jiang Cheng is simply the Failure
He isn't the son that his father wanted and he's not the son that his mother wanted
He can not live up to either of their wishes or desires because of who he is inherently. He is not charming or naturally exceptionally talented
He is smart and capable but he's not smart and capable enough for them
He puts in pure graft and commitment and gets only looked over or told how little it matters
It's not that he's to blame for anyone else's failures, it's that his accomplishments are meaningless and forgettable just like he is
And if you can't be loved for who you are a part of you wants to be hated because at least that means someone gives a damn
You wear your anger on your skin because it does hurt so much when you are rejected and it makes it harder to forget you
And god how badly you wish to at least be remembered
And you love your sibling who is both on a pedestal but being flogged for the honor
And you want to help and protect them but you also resent them
And they also resent you. At least a little
Because you have time without eyes on you
Time without constant scrutiny over your every action
Which is why the thing that holds the siblings together is the only parent they ever knew who truly loved them unconditionally: Jiang Yanli
Who of course was smothered under that love
Killer sans and killer tenna! I saw k!tenna and I really wanted to see both killer versions to interact with each other. So now you get this. Killer was somehow teleported to this au and currently has no way to go back to his team [so I can draw more of them ;) ]
Both killer sans and killer tenna belong to @/rahafwabas
I was thinking of Killer when I listened to this song so this video came to be
I made this wayyy back in February, it was collecting dust so I oughta to share

when you're so emotionally absent that even a morsel of expression makes your brothers fear for your life.
Killer might be my favorite, but I sure do make him suffer a lot 😋
Finally finished this! This has been in the works for a couple months very happy with how it turned out!
everyone go watch this amazing piece of art and support the artist!!

Spoilers for Robin and Batman: Jason Todd. Be warned.
I read the first issue today because I was so excited that Jason was finally getting his own RY1 treatment. But I swear, it's always the most divisive comics that have the most beautiful art. I just know this is going to be a marmite for some people. From what I've seen through reviews, most people do not enjoy this.
Anyway. I wanna talk about the Harvey section because I was not expecting him here.
First of all, I was like, why the FUCK is he on general Gotham channels? You are not Tenna Deltrarune, bro...
Then I saw the rest and I was initially pissed off because, oh, great, we're getting this again. Harvey's the evil one again, huh. He kills Willis because he's an evil shithead who just kills his men over any inconvienience and Willis is the struggling dad or whatever, huh. This is all fine and dandy if you are anyone but me. Because I do not like it. But THANK GOD it turned out to be a nightmare Jason was having, JESUS CHRIST, I GOT SO SCARED.
However.
I'm a little apprehensive for the next issues because this nightmare sequence tells us that Jason already knows Harvey killed Willis and Jason's characterisation in this is very much 'the angry, spiteful, revenge-driven troubled kid'.
Now, don't get me wrong, I think Jason, even as a child, should be a little morally bent and we should see some of his anger. (I constantly think about the fact that he killed a rapist in his older issues.) He has anger. He should have some anger at how Gotham works. He has a slightly sinister way of pursuing justice like a certain other character I talk about a lot.
But NOT to the extent this comic depicts it. And certainly not initially. No way. Save that for Red Hood. This is the child that said Robin gave him magic. A child that viewed the Robin mantle as a garment of hope for the city and for his own life. We are not seeing the childhood that Jason will eventually mourn here. It's just a bit too extreme for my tastes, but it is an interesting spectacle at least. It has time to resolve (hopefully).
Also, if this comic ruins any potential Harvey has with Jason, I'm gonna be super pissed. Because I have a feeling this will not be the last we'll see of him. Hopefully I am wrong.
I very much agree with everything you said. Specially the fact that Jason's life is not looking like a one where he's gonna mourn it.
I'm afraid they'll decide to use Harvey again. Writing a good Harvey and Jason situation, specially when he's robin is tricky. I honestly don't think the writers will do them justice.
I hope the next chapter's gonna be better. 🫡
