“Well, that happens when one travels in time...” Jeanne-Marie didn’t really have first hand experience in the matter -- it was more the X-Men purview than Alpha Flight’s -- but she heard stories and tales of people wandering through time. “You stay as long as you need, mon ami. No rush.” JM knew how hard it could be to find a home, and she didn’t want to deprive Xavin of it. They deserved stability and warmth.

He wasn’t there to help when Lee attacked her, not that he could have done much. Didn’t stop him from beating himself up over it. “Thanks, though. You’re too sweet to me.”

“You don’t have to decide now. We can talk about it once you’ve thought about it.” She grinned and sipped her coffee, cuddling closer to the man she loved. “You’re the sweet one, chéri.” Her voice was a soft murmur, sweet and tender, and she rested her head on his shoulder, long hair falling over her face.

🕷️ - “It’s not like I won’t visit and keep in touch with her. Andi’s a part of my life now too, you know?” She was like a daughter to him, after all. Flash sighed as he exited the kitchen, mugs of cocoa in hand. He took a seat with Aurora, handing her one as he did so. “I’ll figure something out.”

“I know,” she murmured, accepting the mug with a thank you. She watched him. “We can move anywhere, you know. With my powers, I can be in New York to see my brother in minutes, I can fly to work easily. If you want to move to Philadelphia, I’m just saying it’s possible.”

Although if the Avengers and Fantastic Four lended their resources and knowledge towards NASA’s programs, perhaps Earth would be more prepared for their frequent invasions. “As long as this will make you happy, it sounds as good as any idea.”

“It will make me very happy,” She confirmed, looking at them. “I might move to New York with my boyfriend. Of course, you’re still welcome to stay here. I don’t plan on selling my apartment.” Aurora knew they were acclimating to Earth and that having a place to stay was good. “You can invite your friends too, although I think they have American citizenship? They might have to clear it with customs.”

🕷️ - “I have my moments.” he purred, pecking her back before heading into the kitchen. He grabbed two mugs from the cupboard, setting to work making them some hot cocoa…with extra marshmallows. “Mh, one with a balcony?” he teased playfully.

“You know it,” she chuckled, relaxing on the couch, enjoying these quiet, domestic moments with Flash. It was so different from the frenzy of their life of superheroes. “Won’t Andi be mad if you move away from Philadelphia for good?”

“Mmh. You’re a real angel.” She hummed as she pecked him back before she went to sit on the couch. She kicked her boots off, relaxing. “I’m thinking we should get a two bedroom in New York.”

“I’m just saying... you won’t be my nurse or caretaker. I can handle my illness on my own. I think it’s important you know that, chéri.” She hugged him back, her arms around his middle. “I love you, Eugene.”

🕷️ - “Woah…are you saying what I think you’re saying?” he asked, turning around to look at her, blushing faintly. He hoped he wasn’t reading in too much to her words…but that certainly sounded like a proposal to move in. “Because if you are…I’d very much love that idea…”

She looked at him, still blushing, nodding as he asked if she was saying what he thought. “I’d like that. And... it would make ‘sleepovers’ easier if we lived together. I know living with me might be... uhm... strange. But we’re stable, taking our meds, going to therapy. I think we’re ready to be with you full time.”

“It doesn’t have to be on your sole salary...” she murmured, stepping inside, not minding ‘the mess’ at all. Flash was a tidy enough person in her opinion, and moving boxes didn’t count as a mess to her. She was blushing, as she had basically just proposed to him to move in together.

🕷️ - “You can say that again.” Flash hummed as their feet touched ground. He pulled away to get the door, eager to get them out of the cold, and down into his cozy, warm apartment. “I’m thinking hot cocoa…what do you say?”

“Hot cocoa would be very, very nice.” She agreed, following him inside and down the building. “You should get an apartment with a terrace or some way out beside the windows. It would be easier for us.”

🕷️ - “No…but I really love it when you fly me.” he smiled, letting his arms loop around her neck as she hugged him. Before he knew it, they were off the ground….flying at a speedy pace towards his apartment.

“Je sais,” she murmured, holding him tight. carrying him was no issue for her, she used to carry much heavier charges. Soon she landed on top of his apartment building. “Home sweet home,” she told him.

🕷️ - “My place it is…pizza and lighthearted comedies.” he murmured, taking her hand in his, linking their fingers together. “Wanna do the honors and get us there, speedy?”

“I’m not your personal taxi service,” she pouted... but she still wrapped her arms around him and lifted off. She flew them to his place at an almost leisurely pace for her, but still rather fast for the non-speedster.
