Stage 3 boss of a Touhou-themed RPG I made up.
"The field is huge. The fences were invisible, and you bump against some of them.
You find a girl, surrounded by sheep, gently but repeatedly bumping them with a herding staff. She has a desperate and fatigued expression on her face.
"A-ah, welcomee~ā¦" She says with a tired tone, bowing to you in a courteous way.
"How may I help you ~?" Melia opens a smile, despite it all.
She keeps tapping the sheep with her staff repeatedly, like she's trying to keep them awake.
Her staff is capable of transforming a symbol of an animal into a living individual of its species, she wields it as if it has the weight of a feather.
Herds of domesticated animals will obey her every command, a communication that transcends interspecies language barriers.
Human farms that worship her will be blessed with protection against predators and illness, and they will produce more of their products desired by humans, be it eggs, milk, or wool.
Before the main invisibility incident, she manifested when the humans prayed for a god to defend their livestock at the face of attacks by the vicious great wolf Artemis. She is defensively powerful, and is able to launch attacks to defend her flock even during her sleep.
Over time however, the human prayers started becoming more desperate for her help. As the great invisibility spell hit, humans demanded she kept the task of not only keeping the sheep safe from the wolf, but also to keep them visible. The prayers started turning to complaints. And the complaints turned to demands. And Melia has become exhausted, yet through all of this, still manages to keep her smile and friendly attitude to anyone that visits her.
