The Rock Me FALCO! Website is online! It hosts all about FALCO - Hans Hoelzel, but translated - so that it's accessible to non German-speakers. If you can think of it, it is (or will be) there: album and movie reviews, song texts, tour material and dates, interviews, anecdotes, sheet music or past fanzines... We want to strengthen our bond as FALCO fans. Given the international scene, we're already few and far between. Let's come together! We're born as an Italian fanclub, but it's a work in progress and most of our stuff will be multilingual (EN/IT). As you can see on the homepage, there's a little form to "sign up" as a fan club (totally free) member to find more available materials. There's also a chat feature through the comments to communicate between fan club members!! Let us know what you think about the website. We're also active on most other platforms, especially Instagram. The Emotional Tour took me from Europe to Japan. I basically travelled across the world, except from America.

At first it was awesome, but slowly I realized it was a nightmare. A year far away from home, without my wife and child. After some time I felt like I couldn’t do it: I felt sick, I couldn’t go on stage without… Something in my bloodstream.

When I arrived in Japan I was at the lowest point, I couldn’t have managed the American tour.

Elitism is killing fandoms

Elitism is now the worst thing happening to fandoms and the one of Falco especially. People don’t enjoy anymore sharing and talking with the community or take part to it: now being part of a fandom means to race against each other in order to be first. First in what? The most important thing in nowadays communities is owning more objects than others, having contacts with someone close to the artist and so on. It’s a race in order to show to other people you are a bigger fan.

All the fandom will agree he was cute and fun and so on, but ignoring the fact that he is a dead person, an artist and much more than a nice looking man is simply stupid. To pretend Falco is still alive in order to develop a para social relationship with him is not health for you or the community. It would be healthier to share thoughts about him as artist and questioning each other about his projects and, why not, also all the thing we are not sure about or are still now a little bit shady (his money disappeared, his friendship with Ronnie and so on). What brings to a fandom if you only shares how many objects about Falco you have or how many times you visit his grave?

Come on, interact more and without drama. It’s simply stupid and make a fandom already little more and more inactive.

You know when you’re on self destruction day 8 and it gets so fucking boring it’s almost unreal how boring it becomes honestly…. It used to feel so naughty and clandestine and now it’s like….. 👍🏽 Cool tomorrow let’s go on a nice two hour walk get our mind right deep clean house grocery shop listen to sweet affirmations read exfoliate play instrumentals in the kitchen while we cook. And it’s not like a desperate plan it’s just like it’s actually more exciting to live the Other Way. Even if it doesn’t answer every existential qualm I have at once it makes it all nicer. I want to swim and suntan. I want to restock my mango kefir
