Rubbing her temples, Cora attempted to alleviate the headache that had slowly begun to form. Between her parents pushing on her more responsibilities as heir, school piling on more homework than she could handle, and not sleeping brilliantly of late, it was no surprise the girl was exhuasted. As such, she wasn’t paying enough attention when walking through Hogwart’s crowded halls and accidentally knocked into someone, causing all her books to tumble to the floor. Holding back a sigh, for this had just really not been her day, Cora bent down to pick up her things. “Bloody hell,” she muttered, before speaking again, louder this time. “I apologise, I wasn’t watching where I was going.”
“Oi, watch it, yeah—-oh,” he paused, realising it wasn’t a first year wasteman needing to be put in his place. “Nah, it’s calm, gyaldem, was my bad anyways.” Lance quickly dropped to his knee and collected her things, handing them over to Cora in a particularly neat pile, “ma ain’t about that mess, feel. You okay?” He asked, offering a smile.
