❝ it's hard to say. ❞ there's a silence to her answer. a stillness. as if she's entirely unsure of how she should answer this. maybe instead, it was more of an unsure feeling. like she couldn't decompile these feelings in a nice and neat response. ❝ i can't imagine my life without her, and yet, i left her for so long. all those years i never even said a word to her… ❞ there's a venom in the words, directed towards the very person who spoke them. ❝ i can't remember much of those years, it feels like. they were such a blur. but i remember the exact moment i reached out again. i remember how i felt. ❞

there was a million and one things that could be said about strelitzia. so many words and phrases, so many emotions and feelings. it was hard to quanitify everything in such a short answer. ❝ i wouldn't be who i am today without her. and i continue to get even better because of her. no matter how much i piss her off. ❞ there's something to be said about that. the anger and frustration. the deep rift between the two that is now somewhat mended… if only by a rickety bridge that needs some more work. ❝ i'll tell you though, if there's one thing i can truly say, it's that i'd do anything in the world for her. even if it meant i had to die. ❞
NOTHING IS BITING. this outing, which had begun hopeful, had quickly taken a turn for the worse. fishing was a game of persistence: it required contemplative silence and long, long periods of nothing happening. perhaps it was the sourness of her newest companion, but in any case impatience was beginning to churn in her veins.
she does her best to let none of that frustration show, only evident in the purse of her lips. it was fine. maybe something would bite as they continued this conversation, though she doubted it, especially if this woman didn't lighten up.

" well, that's part of the appeal. it's a little different. " her tone is lighthearted, a chuckle coming through her words. her focus is the ripples on the surface of the water. " i like checking out different environments and see how well people are taking care of 'em, how they interact with the pokemon that live there. "

for a long moment, the champion doesn't move. doesn't respond to anything the other had said, simply pondering her words. an environmentalist ? here ? well, that wasn't such a bad thing. rareitans lived in a way that tried not to take up too much space. any time they expanded, there was careful consideration put into where that expansion would go and how it would affect the local populations. she hoped it showed. ❝ i hope you find rareita up to your standards, then. ❞ the edge in her voice has fallen, dulling the knife that was once thrown towards the woman fishing.
there was a large part of six that didn't want to act this way, but something about this whole thing made her heart angrily race. with a breath, she sighs a little louder than she intended. her gaze remains on the waves, expression pulled tight. ❝ i jumped at you harshly. i should've been better about this. ❞ it was strange, to be so reflective so quickly. to some degree, she supposed, that was part of changing and growing. of bettering herself. something like that, anyway. ❝ do you know much about rareita ? about where you are now ? ❞ there's a small glimmer somewhere in her gaze, a strange fondness peaking its way through the sharpness. ❝ about this beach ? ❞
