She hadn't meant to sneak about her... son's room, honestly! Her curiosity had gotten the better of her, in truth; she'd already met Usagi, and yet the final member of her found family was nowhere to be found. Even if she didn't intend to be romantically involved with her so-called wife, it could be fun to have a kid. She had a lot to pass down from her own father, after all.
So, she'd wandered about the house, finding her way about, getting confused over the electric lights and such, until she eventually stumbled upon the room she assumed was her son's room, given that it was a bedroom that was not the master bedroom. And given that no one answered when she knocked, she assumed it was alright to investigate a bit.
There were signs of someone recently being in the room, given the objects on the desk and the slightly rumpled bed sheets. In that case, the missing member of the new family probably wasn't far off. Glancing about, her eyes finally settled on what appeared to be a deck of cards on the bedside table. Perhaps they could bond over some card games? Suddenly feeling quite positive, she picked them up to investigate the deck.
"Hm?"
They were unlike cards Rian had ever seen; instead of suits were strange illustrations of creatures that she'd never even dreamed of. Intrigued, she began shuffling through the deck, completely oblivious to the world around her, and to the door slowly creaking open.
