April, please be gentle with me. I’m trying.
How important is representation in [Franchaela's] love story?
muggerz
I always say that the thing which sets Sargent apart as a portrait artist is that he draws/paints literally every subject - no matter their gender, social position, life vs representational drawing etc - like he is right that minute realising he's desperately in love with them. And it rules every single time.
Examples pulled just from his Wikipedia page most popular works. Absolutely devastating scenes for bisexuals for over a century
Don't forget the ALLIGATORS. He loves them too.

April Fool’s Day is in a few days, and I just wanted to make this clear. This blog is safe, and I can promise you no screamers, nothing emotionally abusive, no fake posts, and nothing to intentionally trigger dissociation. You are safe here.

This is my piece for Some Print Studio’s Raindrop risograph show being held at San Cafe in Toronto!
From April 1 to May 17, Some Print Studio is hosting a risograph postcard show featuring 29 artists, each creating an illustration inspired by the theme “Rainy days…” The exhibition brings together local and international artists with distinct styles, and celebrates the unique texture and mood that risograph printing can add to every interpretation of rainy days…
Admission is free, and riso-printed postcards will be available for purchase throughout the exhibition.
