(I'm not good with words, at least when it comes to comparing, at least I think)

Stumbled across your art recently, and in a way, in just. Somehow reminds me of my hometown.

It has that warm and soft feeling that makes that child side of my mind relax. Like I'm seven again, sitting on the porchsteps and watching the sunset, no worries that I face now as an adult. Simpler times, y'know?

But there are some pieces of yours that also remind me of my hometown in a different way, in the eeriness and slight ghostly atmosphere that some parts of the Midwest are known for. That sort of quiet dark mystery regarding deer skulls, shadows.

It's comforting, in both the warmth and the eeriness that is the Midwest, or at least the part I grew up in.

(I hope this wasn't worded oddly--)

i'm so happy i could've made you feel this way, cause the feeling of comfort as well as eeriness are what i'm usually aiming for and want to convey in my art!

Recently discovering your artwork has inspired me to seriously develop my art and to do so digitally (something I've been thinking of doing for some time).

I was hoping you'd be willing to share what equipment you use to create your art - it would really help to know what to look for, especially from someone whose work I admire and who has as much experience using the media as you do.

I truly look forward to your art and I've not come across someone giving out digital art tutorials in the same way you do so, thank you - it's so insightful and helpful. If this information is not something you are willing to give out then, of course, no problem. Lucky to have found your art in the first place. Wishing you all the best.

as for your question about equipment, i use an ipad air and an apple pencil pro, and the app i use for drawing is procreate

I've been reading a lot of qjj recently and AAAAAAA I'm loving it so much!! I never thought I'd be the type for plot heavy political dramas but here I am, struggling to figure everyone's relationship and remembering names (lol)
