"I know right? I got so excited when I saw the concert on the booking site that I even pulled a few favors to get into the after-party with a guest before they skipped town. We’re going to get to meet them." Ben laughed as he caught on to her enthusiasm.

"The cab’s going to be here in a few minutes if you want some time to prepare, i’m outside the dorm right now."

"Yes a show, Demi Lovato and Pink, so pretty much the concert of the year for this area." He grinned into his phone as he fiddled with a button on his vest. He was waiting on a cab to show up but if Lydia needed time to get ready he’d have them wait for her.

"Really?" She didn't stop the excitement from seeping into her voice. "I didn't even know Demi and Pink were touring together. That sounds amazing, I'd love to go." She'd never seen either artist perform, so it was exciting to find out she had the chance to go tonight.

Ben sighed as he sat on the steps outside the dorms, all dressed up and nowhere to go. He had planned on going to a concert with Alex tonight, but before he knew it the other boy had skipped town on him. He didn’t leave a note or bother calling so now here Ben was twiddling an extra ticket and back stage pass between his fingers before looking down at his phone and pressing send on his Call button. "Hey it’s Ben, wanna go see a show tonight?"

"A show?" Lydia spoke into her phone with curiosity, after answering the call. "What kind of show? An art show? A Broadway show? A music show? You gotta be more specific than that," she remarked in a playful tone.

Don’t worry I promise I’m a very fun and comprehensive teacher. As long as you get my work done and show me some respect, then we’ll get along just fine, lovie! Oh and thank you for complementing on these earrings, had them for as long as I can remember.

I’m holding you to that. I guess I really lucked out at getting you as my partner. From what I hear, you’re really great in this class. The others seem to really like you. Kind of feel like I’m in the presence of royalty or something now.

I was also kinda hoping you’d know where to start with this. II’m being completely honest here…drama really isn’t my forte. Just…none of the other clubs sounded very interesting.
