the idea that you should meet your partner’s every need, and if you don’t, you’re either inadequate or they’re too needy

the idea that a sufficiently intense love should cause you to cease to be attracted to anyone else

the idea that commitment is synonymous with exclusivity

the idea that marriage and children are the only valid teleological justifications for being committed to a relationship

the idea that your insecurities are always your partner’s responsibility to tip-toe around and never your responsibility to work on

the idea that your value to a partner is directly proportional to the amount of time and energy they spend on you, and it is in zero-sum competition with everything else they value in life

the idea that being of value to a partner should always make up a large chunk of how you value yourself

So the Irene Controversy has been flooding my feed. I dont intend to be biased and defend her wrong doing because being rude to somebody and yelling at them is WRONG. Her behavior has done a huge blow onto her fame and name and I'm pretty sure she's regretting her actions with how she publically apologized and didn't deny any of the claims. I personally believe that this incident might make her more humble and change her attitude towards the people who work for her. But y'all out there calling her names and bullying her, calling her a 'bully' isn't making things much easier either. Please dont label her as a bad person throughout her life cuz of this incident and give her room to correct herself. Afterall idols are humans too. It's a little sad to see people label her off as bully and thinking it is now okay to bully her. Last thing we want is another idol being pushed onto the path of depression. Given the situation I think it can be easily solved and avoided in the future if Irene makes few changes on her self. Have faith that a person can be better and stop bullying her, thankyou.
