Little things.

It was past noon and the blazing glow of the bright sun was pouring inside the room, much to the girl's annoyance as she was too dazzled by the bright light.

"Ahh, it's too bright…" the girl said in a soft voice and sighed.

"Would you like me to roll down the blinds?", the boy suddenly asked which made her look at him who was also staring back at her.

She was surprised because she hadn't expected that anyone will hear what she said as it was not intended for broadcast.

"Umm…I guess?", she muttered, then after that, the boy went to roll the blinds down, ignoring the others who were complaining that it was too dim. Then he looked the girl in the eyes and smiled at her. And right then and there, the girl knew that something was odd with her. And then she realized that she's falling—shamelessly falling for that pair of pretty eyes.

Exposed.

I should've just held it in until it was over. No, I should've just ran faster than stop at that stupid corner and let those stupid feelings out all over the place. Or l could've just shut my mouth and tell that the sky was a clear blue when in fact it's the complete opposite. Or I really could've just kept them bottled like always until they died down on their own. Because bottling everything up is the safer option, still and again and always. I have always known that, and yet, I am here again, doing something stupid like this again. Pathetic, right? I know. I'm aware.

I was taught of this song when I was in primary grade and up to now I can still remember this part very well. I searched everywhere for this song yet I can't find it anywhere. I use to sing this often back then because I liked the melody without putting much thought to the lyrics until I grew up and finally understood.

If only showing our true feelings can be this simple like what this song is teaching but it's not easy at all and never will it be. Especially when this world were living in misinterprets everything and bottling everything up is way easier.
