My Savior - Chapter 1 - LylaCain - The Walking Dead (TV) [Archive of Our Own]
Hey peeps! I'm posting the last chapter of 'My Savior' tomorrow, so I wanted to share the first chapter in case anyone is interested in reading a very soon-to-be-completed fic.
'My Savior' is only available to AO3 members, but it will be 63 chapters and almost 130K words by the end, so it's a hunk.
I did decide on one ending rather than two alternate endings, but after everyone has a chance to read my canon version, I might polish the other ending up and post it. We will see.
*Savior-centric. Negan X Female Original Character.
*Platonic F/M and F/F relationships, including 'found family.'
Begins around the time Daryl joins the Claimers until around mid-season 9. It follows Lilly, a survivor willing to do anything to make it another day. After getting fed up with the brutal ways of the Claimers, she escapes and ends up in the chaos of the Saviors, capturing the eye of the Sanctuary's formidable leader.
It has plot twists (including who Lilly really is), familiar scenes, and entirely new dynamics from the perspective that Rick is the bad guy, not Negan.
And shameless smut. There is definitely smut. You have been warned.
TRIGGER WARNING for domestic violence, insinuated/attempted rape/rape, gore, manipulative sex, lots of cursing, smoking and drinking, and the general shenanigans you'd find in the show.
***I am thinking about a sequel to run from where this one ends to the end of season 11, but that will be a bit in the making.
