Sue Horine review

Sue Horine makes native american jewelry mostly to show off stone cabochons that she admires. The pictures I have posted are some of her work and my favorite ones. I love the designs & the variety of colored beads she has used. Sues designs are different from what I normally see which is why I really like it. The only thing I think she should have done is used some stone cabochons to make rings. Thats the only thing she never made, which is a shame because the stones are so nice and have neat designs on them, would be perfect for a ring. Other than that I love her work, her jewelry is something I would definitely buy.

Bead Embroidery

Bead Embroidery is stitching beads onto some fabric, suede, or leather. It differs from the other techniques like bead weaving, bead crochet, and bead knitting. Those techniques add the beads during production and with bead embroidery the beads are added after the finished fabric.

This type of beading has been often used on clothing, decorative textiles, household items, and sometimes belt buckles and handbags.

There are three basic methods used to embroider with beads,   

Sew individual beads directly on to the fabric

Several beads can be run through before running through the backing.

Or a line of threaded beads can be laid upon a fabric and secured with couching stitches
