I suppose, I’ve already mentioned here, that I’m not a real potterman – I’m not an actual big fan. Though, it doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate a good piece of “Harry Potter” content now and then. As you could have understood I’m also pretty fond of musical theatre. So, when in some of @themischiefmanagers QA videos I heard about some musical based on the “Harry Potter”, I didn’t pay too much attention at the time, but then I followed @xenolinguistics-department and it was pretty difficult not to see some Quirrelmort posts. So, I’ve watched “A Very Potter Musical” and wow. I fairly didn’t expect it to be so cool. It’s overwhelmingly funny – for real. They made fun of almost all “Harry Potter” problems – lack of education, weird and uncaring Dumbledore, Hermione doing all the job for Harry and Ron and them being pretty rude, too little number students and so on. I can’t say that I had some unbelievable musical experience, I enjoyed their singing and dancing, the lyrics were cool too. Let’s move to the main part – pairings. (I don’t know, probably spoilers!) Aside from canon and classics – Ronmione (Ron/Hermione) and Hinny (Harry/Ginny), we got some: Dramione (Draco/Hermione), but mostly a joke – Hermione beat Crabb, Goyle and Draco (something like when she hit him in the nose in the third year) and Draco suddenly realized how cool she is. Snumbledore (Snape/Dumbledore, I didn’t know it had a bloody name) – Dumbledore is constantly flirting with Snape. Last but not least: Voldemort’s nipples – something I didn’t know I needed. No! Quirrelmort – it was so stunningly sweet. I would never think that it can be so cute and yet so dramatic. Of course, I cried in the end. I have so many songs ruined (I can’t listen to them without crying), so many actors (can’t see them without crying most of the time) but now fandoms ruined simple words for me – how I’m I supposed to hear words “okay” and “wonderful” now and stay calm? Going to watch the next parts for sure.
