Business Blues
Hi everyone! Welcome to my new blog, LYNN LIVE! I'm so excited my blog and new website are finally up. LYNN LIVE will be a blog where I keep it REAL about things that are happening in my life, career & business, entertainment, fashion, news and MORE. I'm very unfiltered and honest, so this is the perfect outlet for my candidness!
But anyways, as a lot of you may know I started a life coaching business. It has been a fun learning process, but also stressful. Sometimes I'm like what was I thinking?! But, I have to tell you nothing is more rewarding then putting in the work and seeing it grow successfully. Though it may be stressful at times trying to do it ALL, I have family and friends who really keep me going. People ask me all the time, "How are you doing it all? You're doing a lot!" I laugh because I don't even know. I'm trying to grow my career through a lot of different avenues...life coaching, television, radio, speaking, shirts, etc. etc. etc. I'm always coming up with some new idea and it truly can give me the business blues sometimes. I'm like okay you're doing too much, but then I think about where I want to be. How will I have success if I don't do everything  in my power to make it happen?
Every success comes with sacrifice. I don't sleep much anymore. Not because my schedule is just super crazy, but because I am constantly up sorting out plans, goals, and ideas. The hardest part of starting a business for me was deciding how I was going to execute all my ideas and plans without going CRAZY. How can I brand myself? How can I do TV and radio at the same time? How can I make sure this great idea is on the table too? It's a world wind of thoughts, but somehow I am still sane. :) Another thing I have struggled with in starting a new business, is support from others. What I have learned, however, is that people support in varying ways, and that's fine. And there are some people who just don't want to, and you know what, that's fine too. I keep going.
Though I do allow myself to get overwhelmed with business blues sometimes, I can honestly say starting a business has given me more resilience and strength than ever before. Taking the courage to step out and do something unorthodox and new was SCARY. So scary! There have been times where I told my I'm like I’m going back to a regular, full-time job, I can't do this...clients aren't emailing back quick enough, the printer won't work, non-serious inquiries, etc. etc. etc. This is just TOO much! I will be honest, when I get crazy stressed like this, I drink and swallow negative and it takes over. Keeping faith in my vision is hard sometimes, but the rewards have been phenomenal. I have been given great opportunities! No, I'm not where I want to be yet completely, but even when I make it there, I will still strive for more. I had to learn to put my fear of failure in the back seat and take this chance trusting that this is the process and it WILL pay off.
So, for all of my entrepreneurs, dreamer chasers, and goal diggers, don't give up! Your ideas are racing for a reason. Invest the time and effort into seeing your dreams come to fruition. I know sometimes the business blues is singing in your ear, but don't fret you're closer to success than you think!
Thanks for reading! <3
