"Really?" N was surprised at her orientation. He hadn't met many people who were on the asexual spectrum but it made him feel happy to hear it.
"I am demisexual myself. I don’t think I've met any else on the ace spectrum. But it’s for any gender." N nodded at her last statement. He couldn't fully understand it as he never really thought too much about his sexuality until lately. "Well I can always help you out if that’s the case."
"Wow," She said, feeling pleasantly surprised at his answer, "I've barely met anyone else that's ace either. I guess it's not exactly a common orientation," Lyra shrugged. She hadn't expected to find someone else on the ace spectrum here, and especially not one of the very first people she talked to.
It was really catching up to her now, how different everything was here from back home. And it wasn't just the city or the language, it was the people. There were people from all over the world here, and all of them so very different from the people she knew back home. She brightened considerably with the thought.
"You would?" She said, "Oh, that'd be great! It was a lot of work to do on my own before."
