Okay, so this has been a long time coming, but I am placing all my blogs on hiatus. Unfortunately, my life has become just... hectic. And due to both physical and mental reasons, plus lack of time, it has become extremely hard for me to roleplay. It sucks, and I love all my characters to death, and I have met some amazing people, but I just don’t have the time or energy to keep it up.
Hopefully I’ll be able to return to DARP and write with all you amazing people. But for now, I just can’t.
My skype is available to everyone who follows me, thefiirestarter, all I ask is that you provide your URL when you add me.
I’m so sorry to do this. It hurts my heart to do so, but I just need a break.
xharillen:
“ It strengthens your muscles, and brings you peace. Once you are able to complete it. Come, da’len, try again. ”
He smiles gently, but he does not laugh. It was a fair attempt. Solas steps forward and urges her to return to the first position, then gently lifts her into the proper pose. He supports an arm beneath the curve of her knees, helping her gain her balance.
“ Remain calm. Maintain your breathing. ”
She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She inhaled and exhaled slowly as she allowed him to move her body into position. Strength and peace, two things she had a dire need for. Her muscles burned at this point, and she wanted to kick back down, but she couldn’t let Solas down.
❝ Perhaps I could use this skill to intimidate Corypheus. He’ll be so jealous he can’t do this that he’ll just go home. ❞
xharillen:
“ On your elbows, yes, with your legs leaning back. Do not worry – I am here. If you fall, I shall catch you. Your body is capable of much more than this. Trust it. ”
Alright, she’d humor him. She shot him a skeptical look, though her lips curled into an amused grin. The small elf rested her weight upon her elbows and kicked her legs over her head. It wasn’t easy by any means, and within seconds she came crashing back down on her belly.
❝ What is the point of this? ❞
❝ You... want me to do what exactly? Is that even safe? ❞
She was but a girl, L O S T in the wilds of her heart.
xharillen:
“ I am afraid little can be done, but worry not. I assume it shall pass soon enough. I am unfor- tunately aging, and along with the task comes miscellaneous aches and pains. ”
He focuses on pushing a wave of healing magic to his mind, which at least serves to dull the sharp sensation. He assumes his cordial position, crossing his hands behind his back, and steps forward to the visiting Herald.
“ The workers seem to enjoy describing me as such; an elf not eager to serve can be little more than irritable, it seems. ”
❝ You? Aging? I couldn’t tell. You’re as bright and spry as the young ones running about my cl- my old clan. Barely a day above my own age. ❞
While she attempted to keep the smile on her lips, the mention of her clan made her heart flutter in her chest for but a moment. It hurt to think of them now, to think of her home in the Free Marches. She doubted that she’d be able to return ever again. Though, she didn’t let those thoughts reach her eyes. Solas was too good at reading people - she didn’t want to slip even a little around him.
❝ If you aren’t eager to serve, why stay? You’ve helped more than anyone could ask of you. You kept me alive, on more than one occasion. Do you not remember the soldiers dragging me out of the snow? If you need to take your leave, you may. ❞

The Dalish girl was strange, quirky, someone Lyre could get along with. Had she not been an outcast in her own right? Lyre had brief interactions with the Sabrae clan before, but only in her youth, long before she could properly remember. Lyre had been so young when the events of Kirkwall took place, and now that she had matured she wished she could have helped.
❝ How do you do it? The eluvians... they’ve been quiet for so long. ❞
@illustrioxs
She had chewed for hours over how to approach him - The Champion of Kirkwall. Growing up in the Marches she’d heard countless tales of his heroism, and his severe lack of good luck. It was quite the epic tale, one she’d tell to the young ones over the crackling of fire - anyone could be a hero. She’d wondered what she’d say if she ever met him, not that she exactly planned on being the Herald of Andraste. So, she sat in the corner of the tavern, staring down into her cup of sweet wine, trying to gather courage to at least introduce herself. It wasn’t working.
@lyrebiird
“Anyone gives you shit for your age, tell me. I’ll kick their asses.”
Some things never change, and one of those is that Alia is ALWAYS looking for a fight. She may be tired of playing hero, she may hear SINGING IN HER SKULL, but what better way to push past that then to get in pointless fights? Besides, the point still stands. Their Inquisitor may be young, surely, but the HERO OF FERELDEN had been even younger when she’d begun her journey.
“Or calls you KNIFE - EAR. Ah — speaking of, if one of your recruits goes crying to your Commander because some blonde rabbit broke his nose, tell Cullen I’m VERY sorry.” She isn’t sorry.
The sentiment makes her laugh, something she’d not done in what felt like centuries. Lyre shook her head, mouth still spread into a wide grin as she tried to reply without laughing. She’d known Alia for two days at the most, yet she already liked the older girl. She was someone Lyre could look up to.
❝ Well, the thing is, everyone here gives me shit for my age. Looks like you’ve got a lot of asses to kick. And I’m not worried, last week I almost took a soldier’s head off for insulting me and my nug. Cullen will get over it. ❞
✲ || FINGERTIPS PRESS AT his temples, circles rubbed in to ease the growing tension as she speaks. Lyre was a good child. She kept to herself( despite her wanderings ) & her skills were indeed reminiscent of her parents tutelage. But try as she might to disprove those whom would call her such— she was very much still just a child. No matter her pleadings to her or Deshanna, he saw no reason to allow the girl to spy on the conclave. He could not vouch for one he did not trust & Lyre still had years left in her to prove her worth. Ellana was a far better candidate & as far as he was concerned, the only one worthy of the task.
"Odhea da’len. You do your case no wonders by losing yourself to these rambles. I’ve already picked a hunter for this task— I see no reason why I should change my choice just because you beg."
@lyrebiird
*liked for a starter
Lyre did her best to keep the pout from appearing on her face. She knew it would do no good to champion her cause. A hand tugged through her red hair, snagging at the knots in the fiery strands. She winced as the slight pain only added to her festering annoyance. She couldn’t blame him, nor the Keeper for their hesitance in picking her, she’d never exactly been one to show off her skill or brag of herself. But deep within her, she knew she was ready for this. Her parents had been some of the greatest hunters in the clan, and they had passed their knowledge down to her before their deaths. She wished they were there now.
❝ Please stop calling me that, child. It’s all I have heard my entire life, especially since the passing of my parents. I’ve reached 19 years of age, I’ve already begun to teach the young ones myself. In a few short weeks, I’m due to finally receive my vallaslin. I’m no child, Nadas’Ara. Let me prove myself, and honor my parents. ❞
