Author’s note: *put head into hands* Alright, so I may or may not have went off from the usual formula (Do I even have a formula for writing these at this point?) and I think I may have made the primordial demigods here more cryptid cause they’re the literal by-product of primordial beings that are also half-mortal? Chaos will be referred with She/Her pronouns accordance to the PJO books that were used. These pronouns do not however define Chaos as an entire entity and are merely used as an identification.
You were crafted into existence by Her. All you remember the earliest moments of your life was just nothingness; it wasn’t dark neither bright; it was neither space nor matter as you simply existed. You had little thoughts but at the same time, you just knew you existed for a reason. You knew time was passing until one day something happened.
Nothingness became something as you rose up from the void, up from Tartarus, then you found yourself on Earth. Your form was just a form but had no real details, but with the information you learned from the void and existence, you shifted through existence before you decided to copy the forms of beings. The first days of existing you went through from a cell, to a tiny insect, a tiny creature, an animal, before you felt Chaos’ hands forming you to a bi-pedal creature of humans.
With the whispers of the wind, the knowledge hidden in the water, you heard Chaos’ message and knew you were a demigod of Chaos, an agent/warrior of Chaos themselves. It was time for your mission; but what?
As you walk the earth and experience what it means to exist, you slowly find out about your purpose. You begin to see the fine line between the world of monster and gods, and the world of humans. Then you see there are those who walk in between those lines, belonging to both but neither just one. You find yourself being found by a satyr who guides you with many others to sanctuary before you come across a camp, who are just like you but not really.
There you are put with the Hermes cabin and you learn how to be ‘human’ both good and bad. With your time in camp, you learned how to live and take on traits that formed your personality, wrapping yourself in the cognitive reality made by the demigods as you fit in almost seamlessly into this life.
You go through the Titan wars and the war with Gaea, learning about the Roman side of the Greek gods…and as you felt the giants awaken, some part within you tickles before a blooming burning feeling takes over your being…and then when you feel Gaea awaken once more, then you know.
You fight protecting your new home and family against the Romans, you raze towards a direction as if guided. Then as your blade clashes upon another, you and your opponent lock eyes, before you know they’re a child of Eros, hiding they were as a child of Cupid. They widen their eyes at you, realising who and what you are, you both lower your weapons and talk.
Then when Gaea is defeated, you know it's not the end as both you and the child of Eros know that this is the beginning; and now you know what your purpose is; for long ago, Chaos was aware that there would be more children of the Primordials and as his agent and avatar, you are to meet them.
You have the ability to create and hence manipulate anything. Within reason however. You can technically produce something out of nowhere but at the same time you can’t. You’re no longer part of the void and Chaos itself, you weren’t attached to the endless flow of knowledge of everything and nothingness.
So to produce something out of nowhere is to create it from your own memory and understanding of it; with your own energy of what it is. Of course you know some things but you don’t really know it. So as you’re put to walk on Earth, you have to experience the world and things as they are.
An example would be an apple: you could technically make an apple appear but unless you have looked and examined an apple, held an apple and tasted it, the apple would not be an apple. Even then, your taste of an apple would be reflected in the apple you have created, and even then, there many other kinds of apples out there.
So while it is a very powerful ability, you have much to learn about the world around you in order to utilise it properly.
You could technically summon and transport those into the void, but it is a very dangerous and risky power as it would take everything around you, even yourself. If you’re not careful, you may lose hold on your own powers and undo the form you’ve put on yourself and fade into Chaos’ embrace once more. Think of it like a black hole but more…void.
On the other hand, you can perform acts of alchemy really well. Not just modern, mundane alchemy ‘science’ but like those fantastical alchemy. How much of it is magic, who knows but alchemy is also very open to you. Aside from following the laws of equivalent exchange, “something cannot be created from nothing and that in order to create something, something of equal value must be exchanged and lost”, this is an asset you can use being a child of Chaos…just don’t sacrifice an arm and a leg for it though.
Your key features are your deep, void like eyes. If people stare at them too long, they’ll see the depths of the universe that is comprised in your being. All the knowledge and truth of the universe and reality hides behind your eyes and be careful in letting people see through them. Those who are lost will find themselves lost, their being taken in back into Chaos. Those who seek truths and deny it will go insane and be burdened with it. Your form is also a fragile thing.
You must remember that you are tether to this realm, a being that walks, breathes, eats. Eating and drinking is less of a requirement but one that reminds you that you are half-mortal. Watch yourself and remember that you are consuming or else whatever enters your mouth will disappear into the void.
If you find yourself drifting off, you might come undone and that small portion of Chaos will be unleashed. It will take time for you to stitch back yourself into a form, only if you remember quick enough.

You’re formed right as the war with the giants and Gaia has begun and afterwards. You’re not sure when you started to form but you could feel the clay that humanity was formed from, and the combination of all the blood and bones spilled by mankind and nature, and had been buried down within the earth.
While you don’t appear monstrous or with any obvious monstrous parts like the King of Athens Erechtheus, you could feel the monstrous potential flowing through your blood. However, your skin and flesh feel too foreign to you for your own liking.
You came out of the ground, peering right up at Ouranus’ domain and felt anger and annoyance as that was the first thing you saw and not your mother’s domain.
As you can imagine being formed from blood spilled onto the earth, the bones of individuals buried both by violent and non-violent means, you have a preposition of anger and violence while also being very giving and nurturing.
Just like Mother Nature. Fitting as you’re Gaia’s child.
You struggled to get used to having a physical form and the bones within your body. You almost fell over the edge once but you felt something grab you as you were helped upright, before taught how to walk.
That was when you met the child of Tartarus, born and raised in Tartarus itself, and further nurtured by Gaea when she opened the Doors of Death.
With your broiling anger, you expressed a desire to take revenge for your mother against the gods and their heroes.
The child of Tartarus did not explicitly cheer at your words, but agreed to follow you as they didn’t see a reason to deny you either.
Together, you searched for the other primordial demigods as the child of Tartarus revealed you two weren’t the only ones.
As you can imagine, being a child of Gaea means you have the ability of Mother Nature; from the plants, water, rock, even calling forces of acts of Nature.
However, due to how broad your power is, you have a hard time controlling it because as much as you can bring them forth, you can’t really control nature itself.
All aspects of the Earth seem to gravitate to you, listening to your whims and demands.
Even the sea will part for you if desired as Pontus, the personification of the Sea, loves Gaea and follows her will. Animals will fall under this and no matter how dangerous the animal, the animal will follow you to your command.
Careful how you use your power though. Your abilities are too much for your mortal body to handle, even if you’re a child of Gaea. Don’t try to take control too much of other’s domains when you face the god’s heroes.
While you also can do the same as them, those realms are their’s and their godly parents. There’s only so much you can do but there’s much you can do as well.
As time goes on, your form can change like the clay it was once was. Gaea also being known being the mother of monsters and with evidence of her children/offspring having inhuman and monstrous, you also have the ability to have such traits; from growing scales on your skin to act as armour, or sprouting wings from your back to fly, you can switch as you will.
Be wary though, if you stick with those forms too long, the monstrous aspects will take over and you may never become mortal in both body and mind.
Your key feature is your form. You look like a clay or stone sculpted and chiseled into a form of a human statue, perfect, flawless, but seemingly unreal. You can feel your mother’s blood coursing in your body, both nurturing and destruction.
You can feel your delicate form barely holding the destruction underneath you and if you let it, you’ll find yourself turning into a monster, mindless, destructive, and unforgiving. Both features of Mother Earth.

You came into existence when a human woman fell into Tartarus. Her name forgotten in the depths of Tartarus, but you remember enough of her hands cradling you, her face as you felt her face. You were born out of curiosity for why the gods loved mingling with humans. While Tartarus is very arrogant and had a disdain for lower beings then the primordials themselves, he tolerates you as you are a part of himself and raised you in Tartarus where the passage of time was slow and nigh at times, yet passed all the same.
During your time in Tartarus, you became acquainted with Nyx, Nemesis, Hypnos, amongst many others.
You thought this was how you would spend your time forever, until the Doors of Death were forcibly opened by Gaea. You looked up at her in curiosity and respect before she gently scooped you up and took you out with Tartarus bidding farewell to you.
Gaea sheltered you as she helped you gather a proper form, nurtured you and as you learned how to speak, as you reached some semblance as a demigod. It took some time to get used to the world above, and you hid numerous times into Gaea’s patient hands from the light and the vast of it all.
You were only soothed over that the Day was Hemera herself, and Nyx and Erebus would soon come. It was only after Gaea’s awakening and defeat did you walk the Earth, sustained by Gaea herself and her riches. Until the promised day when you felt the Earth shake and crack, as you felt your other kin; where you met the child of Gaea and helped care and nurture them just as Gaea did for you.
You could feel the Gaea demigod’s anger broiling more and more as you told the tales of your journey, before telling you they wanted to take revenge against the Gods and their heroes for what they did to Gaea. You grew up in the depths of Tartarus where monsters and those unredeemable were condemned to, so you had no preference on what was truly right nor wrong.
So you agreed to accompany them on their vendetta, if not anything to repay Gaea for taking you out of Tartarus and nurturing you as one of her own. Together, you helped the child of Gaea as you searched for the other primordials’ children as you were not alone.
Being a child of Tartarus, you have the ability to instill great fear from your surroundings and darkness of the deepest darkest void. Your command of darkness is different from a child of Hades, as this powers allow you to sink into the depths of darkness, almost swallowing everything around in it, where not even light can penetrate through.
You can blanket yourself and those of your own choosing as a sort of security but be careful because your power also connects itself to Tartarus. Stray too far and the monsters lurking in the darkness may try to bite you.
Speaking of monsters, you also have the ability to command the monsters to your command to some certain extent. It’s not an autonomous command but monsters are more inclined to hear you out then anything. Some will follow your command like the Empoussai, while some will only follow if they deem you powerful and worthy enough. Once you start gathering more to follow your will, you can call upon them to your aid or let them hide in your depths, to be called upon when the time is right.
A key feature about you being a child of Tartarus is that if someone peers into your eyes closely, they can see the endless depth in your eyes where light doesn’t seem to penetrate. If anyone asks, you just have really dark eyes. It takes a bit of effort, but when you swallow something, it’ll disappear into an empty pit that is also somewhat like Tartarus. Great if you accidentally swallow gum though.

Much like the child of Eros, you are born under a similar situation. Hemera, personification of Day, is often identified as Eos, goddess and personification of the Dawn. It worked somewhere the same way that Medusa exists; she technically is a Gorgon monster along with her two sisters born from Phorcys and Ceto, but she is also the same Medusa who was once mortal before getting turned into a gorgon later on.
Regardless, while not unusual, your godly mother rarely mingles with men; it was even rumoured she fell in love with Orion. So whoever caught her eye was special enough, otherwise Hemera would be too busy with her day and wouldn’t give most of the time of day.
You grow up rather normally and peacefully, quite literally a bright child; your primordial heritage asleep and hidden away as a child of Eos, who poses little threat to monsters. Until one day, everything changes as right until the child of Chaos and Eros appears before you, awakening your heritage as a child of Hemera.
In fact, you’re the first Primordial demigod that gets dragged into the conflict as the child of Gaea and child of Tartarus appear to bring you into their cause, just as when the child of Chaos and Eros appear to stop them. It was all a bit much, discovering the fact that you were an actual child of a Primordial, and there were more of you out there, and just as you found out about them, they’re trying to pull you into their sides???
Despite the child of Nyx’s pleas to have you join them, you didn’t like the aura the child of Gaea was radiating and the darkness they were carrying. You joined with the Child of Chaos and Eros when the child of Gaea’s reckoning was threatening your lives and others.
You felt bad when you saw the crushed look of the child of Nyx, but when they were also joining the fight, your power was the only one that could go against the children of Erebus and Nyx. You opposed their darkness and night with the power of your day powers, balancing the odds somewhat in your favour.
Your powers are related to the day and those in its realm. You’re more powerful and stronger in the day from dawn to dusk. You can also summon light when required and also create optical light illusions which are useful when the mist cannot conceal everything or in a fight.
Unlike the child of Nyx who can simply rest in the night, you also have to absorb as much sunlight as possible to bolster your power supply. In the night, it’s not optimal and against three primordial children who have related powers, you need to be at the top of your game.
You also have the power to do something similar to the gods revealing their true form in a sense. You can expel all the light and power of the day within you in a blinding, searing heat of light that can practically vaporise in your vicinity. It’s a dangerous move to pull off but given you’re all primordials in a sense, you’re made of tougher material.
The first time you pulled it off was when the child of Tartarus unleashed some of the monsters in their command and you were all surrounded; given that the odds at the time were 4 to 3.
By the end of it, the child of Tartarus, Erebus, and Nyx were also affected by your blast and they were all forced to retreat. You were utterly exhausted as well, which was a good thing they retreated or otherwise the odds wouldn’t be good. So while powerful, it is only used in the utmost dangerous circumstances. It took so many sunbaths to replenish your energy and reserves. You looked super ghastly too.
Your key feature is that you’re quite literally a bright child; metaphorically and literally. You have a bright outlook or mind, you open up like a day and people are attracted to you. Your skin glows brightly like a great skin care routine, your smile just bright enough to brighten people’s day. As Hemera’s child, your aspect is DAY; while it is easier from dawn to dusk, you can actually push it to night as well; however be careful if you enter that kind of zone because you may be faced with a part of yourself that you may not like.

You’re a child of darkness. Quite literally. You were born in darkness and rose out of darkness; figuratively and literally. You were wrapped in the clothes made from darkness, a comfort to you as you were brought into a world with a cycle of light and darkness.
You were born almost alongside Nyx’s own demigod, Erebus following Nyx’s example; however while Nyx’s demigod was born from curiosity, Erebus sired a demigod that while he was born alongside Nyx, her own child must have to be with them as well.
You grew up relatively well and peacefully in the darkness, hidden under Erebus’ cloak of darkness. He showed you his domain of darkness, and the darkest region of the underworld where you saw and learned from the ghosts of the dead.
One night, you were guided to meet the child of Nyx who is your other half, with Erebus telling you that much like him and Nyx were a pair, the two of you were a pair as well.
You and the child of Nyx stuck together, with you either leading them somewhere or them following you, or you following them as they went from one place to another. This was true when the child of Nyx was ordered by her mother to join forces with the demigod child of Gaea and Tartarus.
You knew the Nyx demigod yearned more for Nyx’s affection so they would follow Nyx’s order, regardless of their own violation and feelings. You decided to follow the Nyx demigod, hoping to protect her from whatever may happen; you only can hope that they would remember they could always hide in the safety of your darkness.
As you can imagine, you can wield the darkness. It can range from simple shadow traveling to manipulation of it. However, your special trait is that whenever there is darkness, you can wield it; within objects to mould like clay, absorbing it, or even manipulating and peering the darkness within others.
You can travel through the darkness but careful walking through it; unlike the shadows who have a tether to the world, the darkness is an entirely different domain. It is unexplorable, hides many things, and can cling to you in ways you will not be able to know.
As a part of Erebus and wearing the cloak of darkness cut from Erebus himself, you can relatively travel through the darkness in most domains (the exception of its opposite like light itself), but be careful in bringing others along with you for they may be lost into the darkness or be affected in the ways.
You tell this power to the child of Tartarus whose power is similar to you, warning them when you both bring those who don’t belong in the same realms as you do (the other being the child of Nyx). When you warn them of the consequences, you are confused when you see the look of uncertainty and fear on their face, before they ask what happens if someone borrows your cloak of darkness.
You mention that it would protect them to a degree but it would be little good if they’ve been already affected by it and continue to pursue it.
Another ability you may have falls under Erebus’ other domain; the darkest part of the underworld. Many souls end up casted into the darkness for their crimes or end up lost in it. In a sense, you can summon the dead but those especially within those that reside in your godly father’s domain.
A key feature about you, much like the child of Tartarus, the blacks of your eyes seemingly go forever with how dark it is. However, what different is that light doesn’t seem to touch you in a way like others.
When the light touches your hair, it doesn’t shine or change like others do; your shadows seemingly dark than others. Fortunately, people don’t usually notice your shadows too much to see something is odd; and you can play off your hair being dyed which also doesn’t shine or filter light like natural hair does.

You were born as a denizen of the night; a literal night-owl. You were born out of curiosity for why the gods, or more specifically why her children, especially Hypnos, being the God of Sleep, still produce demigod children. Although you were born out of curiosity, Nyx does have some affection for you but only because you are a part of herself, and it's clear she upholds her immortal children more affectionately. Yet you stared up at your mother with sparking star eyes. She is afterall, the maternal being and mother of Shadows.
Despite Nyx’s clear treatment, you listen to your godly mother’s words like she hung the stars herself and do what you can to make her proud of you. So when Nyx told you to go a mission for her to join forces with the child of Gaea and the child of Tartarus in their cause, you immediately jumped up and told Nyx you would do it.
You caught the look that the child of Erebus was giving you, one of concern but you didn’t think much of it; they were just probably overprotective, as they’ve been when you two were first introduced, and didn’t think you could handle the outside world. The child of Erebus was also told to join and they simply nodded and bowed to Erebus and Nyx, before helping you prepare.
When you joined the child of Gaea and Tartarus, you introduced yourself to them first and eagerly followed them, in awe that there were more children of primordials and that they were the children of Gaea and Tartarus! You had heard of the child of Tartarus before, catching glimpses of them from afar, before they were picked up by Gaea.
The child of Tartarus recognized you and welcomed you, introducing you personally to the child of Gaea who smiled like a flower but as you held their hands with them, you could feel the power trembling within them.
You followed them on their cause to search for other primordial children, but as you did, you were excited in the child of Hemera who was basically your parallel. However, you were all interrupted by the child of Chaos and Eros then you started to feel unsure about your cause; you were all children of Primordials, shouldn’t you all have the same cause?
Being the daughter of Night itself, you can imagine what kind of powers you have: darkness, shadows, the night itself is at your beckon. When it is night, your power rises exponentially and you can hide yourself and others under the guise of night. You can shadow travel as well while also manipulate the shadows as well.
You can also induce nightmares onto others and peer into their minds and souls when required, learning about their weakness which you can bring forth with bits of magic and the power of shadows and darkness. You can also technically make the night seem longer but you have no control over the moon or the stars.
Be careful how much you use your powers though. While you are more powerful in the night, your power is limited in the day. You can’t push yourself too much in the day as your powers will be drained and you will need to rest during the night.
A key feature about you is that your shadows are also dark like the child of Erebus, and your eyes seem darker than others; however yours do have some light in them, in fact they seem to sparkle like stars. When it's night, your form changes to match it, and sometimes if you’re not too careful, your form will dissolve and blend with the night. Which is useful in terms of espionage, you have a time limit to literally pull yourself together before dawn peeks over the horizon and you float in the night cycle otherwise.

It took me a bit to figure it out but here's what everyone has been waiting for! Persephone is just 1 out of the 4 works I have planned and written for, and these works will be categorized as the MISCELLANEOUS GODS due to not the fact these gods are minor or anything, but because I did mention this in an ask before and it's easier to think about due to the canon PJO worldbuilding. These works will be a bit more loose since I'm taking a shot in the wild so hopefully you guys like it. Thanks for reading!!
You can summon the dead as much as the children of Hades, but there’s a keypoint where you can reanimate, revive the dead under some certain circumstances: like bringing back life to dead flowers by imparting your own power, but they're still destined to die because that is the cycle of nature after all. With living beings, it’s much more different the more complex and messier it gets. Animals are sort of allowed, but human beings? That’s a big no-no. It is the quickest and most instantaneous way to make Hades incinerate you on the spot, or make the earth swallow you beneath your feet. He already did that to Aslepius, who was so good at medicine he could revive the dead. You may be Persephone’s child and Hades’ may be lenient with you, but you’re still bound to the sacred mortal laws like everything. Even if you can’t revive (human) life, don’t even think of trying.
Don’t be surprised if you are more in tune and affected by seasonal changes. Given how Persephone is connected with the changing of seasons, you have Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer aspects. What each season means to you will depend on from when you were born and furthering back from it. The children of Hecate are a good support group for this and normalise it.
You can’t be gluten free or allergic to pollen. If you were, you aren’t now once you’re claimed. Not under Persephone’s (and Demeter’s) watch. It’ll literally go against everything that is them. You’ll also have a great love of mint, particularly munching on mint leaves. You don’t know why until you learn about the story of Minthe; a nymph that Hades pursued before Persephone faced her wrath.
Between Demeter and Persephone,, you’re going to eat so much grains; particularly whole wheat. Even if you’re not a big fan of it, you’re conditioned to eat it and tolerate it. If you don’t eat whole wheat or whole grains every so often, you’ll feel something is missing from your diet and you’ll be craving it bitterly.
I think being a child of Persephone makes you an exception to seeing your godly parent due to some loophole. You’re kind of obligated to go visit Persephone for the Winter and Spring equinox; in Winter, you’ll also have to meet Hades. On the plus side, the Winter visits allows you and Hades to get to know one another and minimizes any animosity the Lord of the Underworld may have towards you. You’ll also get to know Nico, Hazel, and possibly any other children of Hades/Pluto along the way with the Winter Equinox visits.
Surprisingly, Mr. D gives some sympathy and help coming to terms with the whole unusual birth thing. Anytime you have a panic or existential crisis, Mr. D is there waiting with a can of diet coke waiting for you. Chiron may also be there for those sessions if so required.
Cabin wise at Camp Half-Blood will have to erect a Persephone cabin/temple now you’re here. In the early beginning, you’re going between the Demeter cabin or the Hades cabin until they build a cabin. The reason it’s taking so long because with Persephone, it is also prompting a possible Amphitrite cabin also along the way just to be fair because Hera has her already, then there’s Persephone, and then that also leaves the last of the Big Three’s Wives: Amphitrite. It’s less on the building part that is the problem, but the future ramifications that everyone is debating and preparing for; a storm that has yet to come.
If there’s a Child of Hera when you’ve arrived and been claimed or during your time at camp, you’re both automatically sticking with each other in solidarity based on the whole impossible child scenario, and children of Queens. You’re also both talking with each other and being discussed with is there going to be a chance of a demigod child of Amphitrite in the future. (though very unlikely at the moment due to the fact she is Nereids, and there hasn’t been any evidence that she has any interest in mortal men*)
You’re guided to Camp Halfblood and chaperoned by your step sibling and son of Hades, Nico di Angelo. You have had 3 to 6 months to get to know him, and him knowing, coming to terms, and being quickly forced to acclimate to your existence. With a favour from Hades and a gently enforced command by Persephone, he was to accompany you to Camp Halfblood. It was less because of the threat of monsters, with the company you’re keeping, but more so as “emotional and physical support”. Seeing as you couldn’t be accompanied by the Lampades, the nymphs of the Underworld, Nico was the best next option (read: Nico is being told to accompany you in a political move to solidify your position and enforce your presence).
When you get claimed, you come on the cusp of Winter and Spring. The bare naked trees that are covered with snow disappear as yellow-green bright leaves begin to take over the branches with flower buds blossoming. The snow melts away into water, seeping into the earth below you, with fuzzy grass peeking out. It carpets underneath you with flowers sprouting underneath you, the first flowers of spring of Crocus, Snowdrops, Daffodils, with the appearance of butterflies and robins fluttering around you.
Two birds drop down to put a crown of thorns, twisting around to resemble a deer’s horns, setting upon your head, menacing as the winter light casts a menacing shadow, before the claim of Persephone of the Pomegranate appears, glowing brightly. The crown begins to sprout flowers along with the bare trees and plantations into your favourite flowers.
Everyone looks at you in changing confusion, fear, awe, and then disbelief and realisation. You see some people’s eyes, their auras distinct as they look at Nico for answers who sighs before steps forward and clear his throat, his scratchy throat sounding like bare branches rubbing against each other yet loud like a tree falling in a quiet forest.
“I, Nico di Angelo, Son of Hades, present the child of Persephone, Queen of the Underworld, Goddess of the Dead, Grains, Spring, and Nature. Hail (F/n) (L/n), their eminence of the seasons.”
Silence takes over like the winter wind before everyone screams with uproar, with minor voices yelling “NOT AGAIN”.

she's seen as a queen bold and brave but im always looking to see if im doing something right because im always scared of straying from whats right. unlike her mythology i wouldnt run back to my mother, i wouldnt run back to my lover, id run away from everything.

I am absolutely confused about death, i dont understand that everything absolutely everything will one day disappear. That my jewelry will someday rust, that the people in graves now once walked where i do, that even my own grave and body will turn to ash. no matter where i hide or what i think one day ill be touched by death and i just cant fathom that.

I dont understand love, platonic or romantic. i cant look at someone and feel my heart race a little when i see them, to get embarrassed when i talk with someone. im always the "flirty friend" who moves on a little too quickly because she wants to test how fast she can move on

Here’s a little family portrait I whipped up a few days ago because I had some questions about Makaria 😂 so I formally present —
Zagreus, Melinöe and the twins, Brimos and Makaria
Ages are 17, 16 and 5 (the twins were a happy accident hence the gap)
Second drawing is for color reference exclusively, it was my first pass! Everyone else’s designs are preeeetty much the same except for some minor changes tweaks with color.
Aaaand bonus smooches from a week or so ago while I tried to get back into the Hercules style (also because I wanted to draw some good ol’ fashioned lovin)
As their mother is a minor goddess, they are often underestimated and even mocked as ‘hippy flower children.’ Those close to them know better.
With who their relatives are, it’s amazing how anyone thinks they can’t hold their own.
Likewise, they too are a rarity and often serve as the annoying yet mischievous baby siblings. Only their Underworld relatives can make fun of them; wronging one will incur the wrath of all and vice versa.
Their relatives will rarely retaliate for them, however, knowing they can stick up for themselves. (And honestly, what they can scheme is probably scarier than whatever they can do).
They are the type of people to make New Year’s resolutions and commit to them. If they do break them, you can be sure they lasted longer than anyone else in the room.
Towards the new year, they can be found cajoling their grumpy (secretly amused) Underworld relatives to make them too.
Even Hades.
They cannot be bought with gifts or money and if one seeks their friendship or even love, expect to earn it sincerely by checking your ego at the door to spend quality time with them. They are very loyal and a gentle warmth in the cold once their trust is earned.
As their shadow travel is limited, they have Travel Roses tucked away, allowing them to travel to and leave the Underworld whenever they please. Like their Hades brethren, they are always welcome in the Palace and have a room reserved if they so need.
Rumour has it that Hades once walked into his Throne Room to see a recently orphaned, young Persephone child sitting on his throne in awe, playing pretend, not yet realising his presence. Instead of yelling and smiting them for such disrespect, he walked towards the stunned, quivering child whilst summoning a flower crown Persephone had made for him earlier in his hands, wilting slowly with his touch.
“You were missing a crown,” he said softly, nestling it gently atop the child’s head.
He placed a finger to his lips and winked, a secret between the two, before allowing his shadows to consume him. He smiled slightly before they could blanket him completely. Through the corner of his eye, he watched the child touch the crown in cautious wonder, the wilt receding as flowers bloomed in response.
Whenever confronted during a family gathering about the rumour, Hades denies it with a scoff.
Unbeknown to him, Persephone had been watching and whenever it comes up, always hides her smile subtly behind a glass of wine.
Children of Persephone are always conceived in spring or summer and if not for their peculiarities, may have even survived through adulthood having never known of their godly heritage, let alone, encounter a malicious Underworld creature.
Whilst Hades will never admit it, Underworld creatures are “strongly advised” against mistaking them for prey, much like his own children.
As Persephone is the goddess of springtime, the season of life, hope and new beginnings, her children do not sense death like their Hades counterparts, but rather, life, promises and dreams.
They tend to be quiet and unassuming, tinged with optimism, hope and gentle kindness. They try to find the best in others and will strongly weigh intention alongside action if wronged. Whilst they are tolerant and forgiving, they are not pushovers.
With children of Hades, one at least knows where one stands. In contrast, children of Persephone are prone to giving second chances in most circumstances but if wronged again, are capable of enacting revenge with a smile on their face when one least expects it. Oh, and never underestimate their patience.
Whilst children of Hades strive to be the best, children of Persephone try to be the best versions of themselves.
Their powers fluctuate with the changing seasons.
In spring and summer, they rival children of Demeter with their powers over nature, capturing the essence of spring. They can control plants, particularly flowers, and even revive dead plants. Some can communicate with animals.
In times of discord, their mere presence is enough to induce hope and peace in others and they are often sent in to calm agitated campers.
Some recipients are convinced they are working voodoo magic.
Particularly in tune demigods are even able to manipulate hope levels, plummeting them to drown the recipient in doubt and despair. Practically nobody does this, however, perceiving it as morally wrong.
In winter and autumn, their spring powers wain. Instead, they are able to shadow travel and many take advantage of this to see the world (or rather, migrate someplace warmer).
They tend to be easier to aggravate.
Children of Persephone insist however, with a smile, that they are grumpier only because they can no longer strangle irritants with thorny roses and poison ivy.
That’s not to say they won’t flick Stygian Iron knives your way if you piss them off.

A/N: Originally wasn't going to answer this but forced myself to do this because if I already did the Big Three Half-Siblings, I might as well be fair to their wives. Also you guys really want these demigods to suffer huh. Like, this is just the BIG THREE HALF-SIBLINGS all over again and this is going to be exponentially worse because there is going to be a daughter of Hera. None of them are going to go off unscathed.
Also I will be using my notes and works that I've published based on said demigods as references.
※Daughter of Hera will be referred to as D!Hera, Daughter of Persephone will be referred to as D!Persephone, Daughter of Amphitrite as D!Amphitrite; and all will be with referred to with She/Her pronouns※
I don't know how or what led to Hera breaking her nature as a godddess of Marriage to cheat on her husband, but it happened and that's the consequences of it. Maybe this is separate from the events of the Big Three Half-Siblings or maybe it is; though if its the latter, then it makes it easier.
Maybe there was an estoteric methods of like there isn't an actual father involved and its just one of those things where Hera gave birth to Ares without Zeus' help (somehow), and the other two goddesses got involved to do the same.
Or maybe it was Zeus still but he became mortal (somehow) and it was all very secret; and the daughter of Hera is Zeus's kid. A bit of a cop out but no one specified how they were born so. Cause the alternative if Hera did cheat on Zeus with another man, leads to Zeus cursing the mortal man in various ways and making the Daughter of Hera's life harder. The only thing that would keep Zeus at bay is that the Daughter of Hera is a Daughter and looks like Hera.
Take that as you will.
So yeah, I'm going to lean with Zeus as the mortal parent.
I'd imagine when this happened, whether its Zeus or not, Persephone got herself involved because as the goddess of Springtime and Queen of the Underworld, she got curious what led to the Queen of the Heavens to be attracted to said-man, and this mortal man probably has to be an Adonis to have this happened.
Maybe Hera tricked Pesephone or much like in the stories of Zagreus, whose parentage is Zeus and Persephone- and again applying Zeus is a mortal.
Now you have two Queens and Wives of the Big Three so I'd imagine the two goddess got Amphitrite involved so she isn't the only one not involved and I dunno how this happened, whether they get the help of Aphrodite/Eros in their efforts, but it happens and if its Zeus or the same mortal man, it happens.
I can see Hera involving the other two Queens to cover her own pregnancy for various reasons; hiding Zeus's mortality, hiding her affair with another mortal, or hiding that she's about to give birth to a demigod. Proclaiming that as Queen of the Heavens, the other two queens followed her example. The reasoning and what led to this doesn't matter at this point anymore because it happened.
Its a big hub-bub everywhere when they find out Hera is pregnant, but also Persephone and Amphhitrite is. And the fact they are at the same time frame does not escape anyone's eyes.
Hade is less than pleased that Persephone cheated on him, but given her history once with Adonis and the fact he has had many demigod children behind his wife's back, he is fair and lets it happen. Is he happy about it?
Not really but he does love his wife and the baby is well…a baby and he is the God of the Underworld so he won't do anything. Even more so when the D!Persephone is born as a daughter and looks like her mother. Just reminds Persephone and her demigod because she is a D!Persephone, it doesn't mean she gets a free pass for everything.
Poseidon is furious for a while but the sea and land eventually becomes calm; whether at the advice of Percy and/Sally, or just his general love towards Amphitrite. He knows Amphitrite generally treats well to his demigod children since years of yore so he lets it pass. Just ask if this was by her own accord because if someone tricked his wife, he won't stand for it.
Again, if Zeus is the mortal father, Poseidon and Hades will become very enraged because how dare Zeus?! Hades laments this is Zagreus all over again and Poseidon thinks Zeus is responsible for this because he wants to use his wife to cover his temporary mortality, using this chance to go against Poseidon again, and the fact this isn't the first time, Zeus tried to after a Nereid nor after someone's wife.
The only stopping their war towards Zeus is one they are far more logical about this, and they both know that Zeus was mortal and they can use this against him. Both Hades and Poseidon make an agreement with each other as well.
Zeus, whether he is the father or not, cannot reveal he was once mortal and therefore mortal, acts furious but its distracted that all three wives of the big three are pregnant. If there is a mortal father that is not Zeus, he is slightly soothed over that his brother's wives also cheated on them and they're all born as daughters. That is enough to pacify him for now (which is Hera's plan).
However, the three sisters are born and raised, I can see them being watched over with a retinue of nymphs of Dryads, Auraes, Naiads/Nereids; some acting as if they're mortals (yes even the water nymphs if we have Eudora as an example) from all the Big Three and their Wives.
The D!Hera inherits both her mother's responsibility and need for perfection as well as her fierce temper. I dunno if subconsciously nor consciously, she is aware of her birth and what led to it, and her birth created a lot of strife, so I can see the D!Hera feeling further pressure to be perfect and keep her half-sisters in line and responsible for, because she is the Eldest sister and whatever actions she does, consequences may fall onto her sisters and vice-versa. Probably takes over a lot of household duties and instructs her siblings to help out.
The D!Persephone is a bit more freer than her D!Hera sister. She is a lot more open than her sister but is not less responsible. However, I can see her both agreeing and disagreeing with the D!Hera because there is not need to be so uptight and they can relax and have some fun at times. Reflecting Persephone's fluid change as both a goddess of Springtime and Queen of the Underworld, the D!Persephone isn't afraid to show both sides of herself. She is both a beautiful rose with thorns.
The D!Amphitrite is a lot more free and independent and doesn't like being restricted. Reflecting both her parentage as a demigod of the sea and as a demigod of Amphitrite, and definitely more open with her emotions. Ironically, she is the the most emotionally intelligent and mature of the three as she doesn't deny her emotions and understands them, showing both restraint and expression at the same time much like Amphitrite herself; who is reasonable.
When everything hits the fan and they're revealed to be demigods and the truth of their births, the D!Hera crumbles first because everyone knows about Hera and she is never supposed to have a demigod, and the fact she is a demigod, makes her a target for everyone.
It doesn't matter how much she works at being perfect, the acts of her mother is enough to dismiss them all. It doesn't help that whether she knows the truth or not about her mortal parentage, she can never tell- showing both envy, relief, and resentment to her other half-sisters.
The D!Persephone and D!Amphitrite are shocked of course, but they are the D!Hera's key supports because even though the D!Hera may have been harsh on them at times, they never forget that its because their sister loves them, and just as the D!Hera cared for them, its their turn to take care and support her, showing everyone that she isn't just the Daughter of Hera, she is their Sister.
What do you think the big three’s reaction to their wife’s kid would be since they’ve all got demigods of their own? Like Poseidon’s reaction to Amphitrite’s kid/Zeus’s reaction to Hera’s kid/Hades reaction to Persephone’s kid
I’ve mentioned the Big Three’s reactions in their wives’ demigods but here’s a summary.
Poseidon may feel over-react a bit towards Amphitrite having a demigod, but its less because she has had a demigod, but more so that Poseidon didn’t know about it because she didn’t tell him.
Otherwise, Poseidon doesn’t necessarily react badly to Amphitirite’s demigod(s), whether because Poseidon isn’t bothered by Amphitrite having demigods or because it’s equal treatment since Amphitrite treats Poseidon demigods rather well, at least by most standards of little to no cursing, harassment and other such extreme treatment and at least stated in the PJO verse lore (like Amphitrite baking cookies for Percy when he comes over).
Poseidon treats Amphitrite with more freedom and everything, and according to the Percy Jackson’s Greek Gods on the portion of Amphitrite and Poseidon, the sea god was rather insistent on Amphitrite marrying him cause he fell in love with her. So we can say that Poseidon loves Amphitrite so he won’t treat the Amphitrite demigod horribly outright for just existing.
Hade’s Reaction towards Persephone’s Kid isn’t that bad considerably because Hades really, really loves his wife. Will I say that he completely accepts Perseophone’s demigods as his own? No, not exactly.
But given he is the God of the Underworld and everything, he honestly could treat others worse (i.e. when Theseus and Pirithous tried to take Helen and Persephone respectively because they think they deserve taking daughters of Zeus as their wives and Hades bind them in the Underworld with snakes to chairs).
I think Hades is also aware that going having affairs behind his wife’s back is wrong and Hades as a fair god, doesn’t react too much to Persephone doing the same and given Persephone’s temper, occasionally turning his kids temporarily into plants is on the light side of what gods do in refutation and pettiness.
As long as the Persephone demigods doesn’t over-reach or push the limits of Hades’ goodwill, being respectful of him and his role in the underworld and everything, Hades will not bother or harm the Persephone demigod otherwise. Basically, it’s more because you are Pesephone’s kid and she loves you, and he loves his wife, so he will care for you in return. Just don’t push your luck.
And now finally for the most extreme reaction: Zeus’s reaction to Hera’s Demigod is going to SEVERELY DEPEND HOW THE HERA DEMIGOD CAME TO BE.
Look I know it was a giant cop out in my Hera Demigod H/Cs, that Hera demigod either came to be either the esoteric way of just Hera giving birth alone to a half-demigod or either Hera or Zeus became mortal temporarily and had a child with the other who was still godly.
Also Hera is a god and gods do not change outside of what they represent and what they stand for, hence why Hera is always stated to be solely dedicated to Zeus because she is the Goddess of Marriage and Wife of Zeus.
Entertaining the idea of what if Hera did have an affair with another man entirely just for the sake of the argument:
Zeus is going to be absolutely furious that Hera, as the goddess of Marriage and his wife, had an affair behind his back with another man and that’s how the Hera demigod came to be.
Punishment includes the Hera demigod being forever in the service of Zeus and being condemned to doing almost impossible quests and requests, Hera being on permanent house arrest and being kept mortal for as long as possible under Zeus’s hand, the Hera demigod being subjected to punishment and torture that may resemble like Prometheus’ level of punishment, being straight up smited, and so forth.
And any of this could be happening as one punishment or all at once. Zeus is really possessive of his wife and he does love her, but his temper is also a huge factor. And if you think I may be over-exaggerating, I may be but it's not too far-off from what Zeus has done before, and that was to other people! Now imagine if it was the by-product of your wife’s affair!
And I know we like to think about the possibility with Hera being in her right to do so because Zeus has had many affairs before, but Zeus as king of the gods he’s in his means to punish Hera for betraying what she represents and well, its Zeus.
You have to also be aware when Jason died, Zeus wasn’t all bothered by his death and feels that that was his punishment because Jason disobeyed and argued against Zeus because they may be father and son, Zeus is all above else, a god and the King of the Gods and no one should be disobeying him, much less his own son.
The only saving grace to the Hera demigod and Hera is Themis stepping in to keep Zeus from actually going overboard and having fairness dealt out, and whether the Hera demigod is a boy or a girl. If the Hera demigod is a boy, I can’t see Zeus treating him well because they may look like their mortal father and everything.
However, the Hera demigod is a girl, Zeus may not decide on more harsh punishments solely because of their sex but also looking like Hera. So not exactly scot-free, but definitely in between in Zeus’s service or being cursed in such manner.
Because in all terms of fairness, Hera has punished the women he had been with and caused numerous trials and trouble towards his own demigods.
As the position of the King of the Gods, Zeus by all means in his own right to do the same to Hera and her demigod because she too has done the same and then they would be equals.
