Is this why I can’t lose weight?
Never once have I looked at a drunk person and said wow that looks like fun I want to be like that! & I guess that's the reason I've never had any desire to drink and I'm just realizing that now and it all makes sense. Of course this still doesn't help my case of being in this awkward stage of feeling pressured to drink and only considering doing it for others but really not wanting to at all...
Give people time. Give people space. Don’t beg anyone to stay. Let them roam. What’s meant for you will always be yours.

Airports:
There’s something peculiarly depressing about airports. Maybe it’s because airports are where the final goodbye’s are muttered, and they’re where your lips and hers meet for the very last time. Airports are where tear-ridden farewells are spluttered, and they’re where you look over your shoulder one last time as you pass through security, praying, hoping against hope that this isn’t really happening and that you don’t really have to say goodbye.
But airports also bring out hope. The terminal is where you’ll see her face light up like a firework as she sets eyes on you for the first time in a month, two months, a year or more. It’s where you’ll throw your arms round her and pull her close like you’ve never done before because now you finally appreciate what it’s like to be without her.
This.

These simple words are so profound & thought provoking.
Storms make roots deepen. Rain brings growth.

And yet you are all that you have, so you must be enough. There is no other way.

my definition of paradise is waking up next to you
I've been with my boyfriend for three and a half years. We've had amazing times and he has shown me what love is and I am forever grateful of that. The only reservation I have ever had with him is that he likes to drink and I don't. I've never been drunk or had more than two drinks. I just don't see the value in making myself not feel good, all the empty calories, and I like who I am and I don't want to have to change my state to have a good time. But the problem is that when I am around people who don't think like me, I shut down and let them suck the happiness away from me. I don't want to ruin my relationship over this because everything else is perfect and I really thought I was becoming more okay with other people drinking, but the other day at some graduation parties I went into a really bad place and it was obvious. I want to cry everytime I think about it. I just stared sobbing writing this. I just don't know if this is healthy and I want ro fight through it but it is really really hard.
Date idea: we wake up early so we can take a run to a beautiful place to watch the sunrise and then we make pancakes and drink coffee and watch good movies
i think the best feeling is when you make someone that you like a lot laugh and their face lights up and they start giggling and you’re really happy that you were able to make someone so beautiful smile so much
if you’ve ever laid in bed and cried so hard to the point where you had to cover your mouth so you didn’t make any noise, i’m so sorry
This Has Happened To Me So Many Times This Year
You plant your own garden instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers. In other words, take responsibility for your own needs and your own happiness.
