A date. Ambrose had a date. At first he was surprised by himself at how smooth he was when he asked Lyric out. The opportunity presented itself like it was meant to be taken when she had accidentally texted him instead of her brother. He was lame, probably the lamest Meeks child, but she had agreed to go out with him easier than he thought it was going to be.Â
While they had originally agreed on going for ice cream, he had an even better idea. Pull out all the stops, something more than just the standard going for ice cream first date. Making sure he had everything he needed he called out to his parents that he was heading out for the night, grabbing the keys to his truck and making his way outside. It was a cool summer evening, perfect for what he was planning. Remembering the address that Lyric gave him, it only took a few minutes to get from his house to hers, a few streets down. Putting the truck in park he got out, slamming the door behind him as he jogged up the pathway to knock the door.Â
After that text had finished, Lyric had still been in a panic about it. where the videos good? not really. but some how Ambrose found them okay. The days had passed,and it was finally the day of their date, and her room was a mess by trying to pick an outfit, finally just going with a pair of high waist jeans, with rips down the front of them, pairing it with a crop’d tank top. She slipped on a pair of her converse, throwing her hair up into a high pony tail, something she had to get back into practice with Cheer starting up soonÂ
She walked down stairs going into the kitchen where he mom was, and just hung with her until she heard the knock at the door, jumping up “Bye mom don’t wait up” She said kissing her cheek and running for the door, grabbing her bag and got to the door right before Cadence did “Don’t you have some better to be than going to interrogate my date” She said pushing Cadence away, and opened the door, 110% sure Ambrose heard that. “Hey!”Â
