wake up call
I promise there is a reason you are doing this. It's been a long journey, but you've finally found the secret to a new healthy and maintainable lifestyle! You just have to keep doing it and not give up. To help, here's a reminder of why you're doing this:
To feel more confident
To be healthier
To stop comparing yourself to other people (friends, family, & strangers)
To see the looks on their faces when you go home
To finally be "that" girl
To get positive attention (not gonna lie)
To buy new clothes
To look good in a swimsuit
To start school in the fall looking gooood
To look good on the WA trip
To look good when visiting cousins/grandparents over the summer
To wear more of your cute crop tops
To get drunk faster
To win friendly competitions (wall sits, stretches, planks)
To be more flexible
To have better skin
To exercise willpower
To make up for the last 3 years of feeling unsuccessful in being healthy
To run a marathon someday
To save money
To have a healthier relationship with food
For a sharp jawline
For pretty hands
For a nice booty
For longer looking legs
For a flat stomach
For cheekbone definition
To succeed! Honestly that's the best part. Just knowing that you CAN do this and you DID the damn thing.
So keep these things in mind! Look at your own writings, at pictures, at health information. Distract yourself. Complete healthy habits. Love yourself and be forgiving, but be strong. Exercise that willpower. Remember that you are doing this for you.
all it should take if you’re disciplined enough is three to four months. you’ll be at you goal weight in four months.
the food will still be there in four months. mcdonald’s will still exist in four months. that donut place will still be there after four months. food won’t leave, it’ll still be there when you’re skinny. why eat it now? why not eat it when you’ve reached your goal?

Okay, but, there is literally no reason you won’t lose weight. If you keep restricting and fasting and exercising, there’s literally NO way you won’t lose weight. You will reach your goal weight, no doubt, unless you give up. Keep yourself controlled, and there’s no way you won’t reach it. Even if it takes ages, but just think. All you need to do today is exercise and restrict, and tomorrow you’ll wake up closer to your goal. Repeat, repeat, repeat, and you will get there.

Guidelines
- Two meals during the day
- No snacking to keep insulin levels down
- 16:8 IF everyday
- Drink lots of water
- Sugar is your worst enemy. You will not burn fat.
- Get lots of protein and healthy fats
- Avoid foods high in carbs like bread, pasta, rice
- No hard limit, but max calories a day is 1800, aim for around 1200-1400
- Go easier on yourself on the weekends
- Limit alcohol
- Cut out Diet Soda - stick to seltzer water
- Take vitamins
- Try to have one 24 hour fast a week
- Weigh in every morning
If you follow these guidelines, it will be a matter of weeks before you look and feel so much better, have a healthier relationship with food, and have established this as a lifestyle! This will get easier. Have patience, forgiveness, and love for yourself.

3 months
It takes 3 months to make a drastic change to your appearance. By September you can be at your goal weight. By October you can dress in that Halloween costume you were waiting to wear until you lost the weight. By November you can wear big sweaters and cute socks and look ADORABLE. By December you can actually enjoy the holidays and not be concerned about that extra fat you used to carry around. By January, you can cross out “lose weight” from your New Year’s resolution because you were disciplined enough to get to your goal weight a long time ago. Just imagine where you could be if you just stick to your plans for the next 3 months.
what happens during a fast
1. starting at your last bite of food: your body is breaking down the food is your stomach; it takes hours for the food to be digested and nutrients stored; half will be used for nutrients and half will be stored as fat
2. once your stomach is empty your body will release a hormone making you hungry, then your body will use fat to get 60-70% if it’s energy
3. after 16 hours your body will start to make glucose and if you don’t have enough it will break down muscle proteins (starts to increase significantly after 28 hours)
4. between 16 and 72 hours fasting your body will start to break down muscle
most weight loss will happen between 16 and 72 hours
I am 100% in control of what I eat. I do not need to binge or eat foods that will make me fat, I can control what goes into my body. I can control how I look. It’s up to me now.

-shave (if you like to do that)
-do your hair
-paint your nails
Hobbies:
-draw/paint/craft
-binge watch a show
-call a friend/hangout
-read a book
-write a book (or poem, story, letter, journal entry)
-pray(if your religion or lack of allows you to)Â
Chores/School:
-sweep
-mop
-vacuum
-homeworkÂ
-study
-dust
-clean your room
-water your garden/house plants
-wash/fold laundry
Miscellaneous:
-chew ice
-drink water/tea
-chew gum
-take photos and edit them
-day dream/meditateÂ
-try a new makeup lookÂ
‼️HOWEVER‼️
There are times when everyone NEEDS to eat! Please don’t fast for too long, if you’re struggling to eat even after fasting, or if you just cant imagine eating but you are hungry, please take a breath and try to eat something small like an apple or some grapes (those are 2 of my safe foods that i never feel guilty for eating, just examples). Don’t go too hard on yourself, i know this type of disorder is hard to fight sometimes, but you need to try to at least keep yourself alive!
