The Handmaidās Tale ā S6E8: Exodus
āthey never shouldāve given us uniforms if they didnāt want us to be an armyā
these were meant to be warnings.
not fucking instructions.
but yall proved you can only be true resistance fighters in theory, in fiction.
so here we fucking are.
Every time Joseph is driving his car at night June shows up
Lawrence talking about his late wifeās favourite book? Sobbing. Lawrence giving Janine her childās drawing, in Jezebels? Crying. Lawrence telling Angela that one day, sheās going to read a book? SCREAMING SOMEONE HELP ME

We only wanted to make the world better. Better? Better never means better for everyone. It always means worse for some.

I have to talk about this are you kidding me š
When Janine saw June again and she was scared because she thought that June was here because she's captured again
Their hug omg š
It was so sweet ā¤ļø. I waited for this reunion for so long. I just hope that they'll both be free in the end. Janine was in Gilead longer than anyone else, she deserves to be finally free.

I see a lot of people buying the Handmaid's Tale right now and that's great but can I suggest Parable of the Sower? It is basically a textbook example of how the US would look if even half of Project 2025 is implemented. Be warned though it is kinda traumatic, violent, very mature themes, and WILL make you cry.
But it also gives a lot of endurance and hope.

She finally got to keep her baby, it was all she ever wanted ššš
