Today has been bright and clear, cold and sunny. I walked through London Fields and along Broadway Market with the sun on my face. I allowed myself to be sidetracked. I bought a book from the bookshop and had a long conversation with the bookseller – even though we’d just met it felt like I had known her a long time. A few doors down there’s a coffee shop so I bought coffee beans and sat down outside with a coffee for a while. Tonight I am going to a friends’ flat for dinner. Sundays are so nice
1/02/18 How is it February already? I missed the last couple of days of january because I’ve been having a really really tough time. I’m glad I didn’t have any deadlines to worry about during it. I’ll make a long post about it. Im so glad I got the essay out of the way and done with, but I know I could have done more! Might rework it over summer? Dissertation possibly? I have a dissertation meeting today….! Emily xxxx
“You don’t get better on the days when you feel like going. You get better on the days when you don’t want to go, but you go anyway. If you can overcome the negative energy coming from your tired body or unmotivated mind, you will grow and become better. It won’t be the best workout you have, you won’t accomplish as much as what you usually do when you actually feel good, but that doesn’t matter. Growth is a long term game, and the crappy days are more important.”

There will be a next time. Another love, another chance, another opportunity. Keep looking forward.
We often create fear in our own minds. We get scared over things that we deem to be bad. Take this fear, look it straight in the eye, and transform it into something else. Turn your fear into a masterpiece.

[11.14.18] Day 9 / 100 days of productivity
Homemade milk tea with boba tastes so good. Memorized some french vocabs and then took notes on project management.

10.19.2018 | Fall intensive week is over, but that just means it’s time to use my “reading break” to review the Greek nouns system and chip away at some church history reading I’ve been meaning to finish. If anyone was wondering, seminary is still pretty grand.
My kind of Sunday study-spread♥️ Bedtime all day!

“Listen to the people who love you. Believe that they are worth living for even when you don’t believe it. Seek out the memories depression takes away and project them into the future. Be brave; be strong; take your pills. Exercise because it’s good for you even if every step weighs a thousand pounds. Eat when food itself disgusts you. Reason with yourself when you have lost your reason.”
