To everybody defending this new movie with “well Agrabah is a fictional place, so we MIXED ARAB, INDIAN, ETC. CULTURES TOGETHER” as if that’s supposed to make me feel better?

So you’re telling me that my own culture is not worthy of it’s own movie, so you decided to mix them all together as if there isn’t a difference?

Listen. Aladdin is a MIDDLE EASTERN STORY. But what exactly in this movie has an Arab vibe? You’re just gonna throw around “yallah” “hummus” and “baklava” around?

I’m loving Panic! can someone explain to keira knightley that she could not have been more off on the plot of cinderella? im doubing the girl even watched the movie.

it’s literally about a girl who, despite being abused, chooses to remain kind. she legit just decides that she would like to wear a pretty dress and go to the ball and have a GREAT NIGHT. She doesn’t even know that she’s dancing with the prince when they do dance, and legit runs away at midnight knowing she probably will never see him again.

The girl literally goes right back to her crappy life, just happy that she got to have her lovely night of fun. SHE DIDN’T GO TO THE BALL WITH THE INTENT OF FINDING A RICH MAN TO RESCUE HER.
