I think she’s like an Orca
Orcas are beautiful animals
Intelligent, proficient, even a little playful
Extremely communal and social
Yet
You wouldn’t wouldn’t want one as a pet, would you?
Where would you even put it?
What would you even do with it?
and most importantly
how could you ever hope to understand it.
You can take care of it, maybe
admire it from a distance
watch it grow
but no matter what
you could never ask an orca to understand you
If i had to choose a role model in life it’d probably be edgar allen poe…minus the whole cousin thing…and more of the laying face down in the streets of Baltimore
was his duolingo streak longer than mine…
Intimacy is not just about sex. It's having heart-to-hearts, staying up all night talking, sharing childhood memories, thoughts, fears, dreams & hopes for the future. It's uncontrollable laughter, direct eye contact and feeling each other without touching - it's exchanging energy
Damn.
“You’ve been criticizing yourself for years and it hasn’t worked. Try accepting yourself and see what happens.”
